The clock ticked by slowly, very slowly.. Niyah was nearly certain was frozen at this point. She nervously fingered her favorite sea turtle necklace- a leatherback- and skimmed the classroom once again. The teacher was mumbling something inncoherent, or maybe her brain was just choosing not to make sense of it. Everyone else seemed either half asleep or on another planet.. and knowing her classmates, that was a good probability. Niyah stared at the cieling, zoning out of the lesson entirely. This class seemed to last forever- and the only interesting people seemed to be dead or very very quiet today.. 

Nik stretched out her arms and put her feet up on her desk and reclined. She let out a heavy sigh as the teacher shot her a glare. "Just what do you think you're doing, miss?" She asked, walking up to Nik. Nik rolled her eyes then closed them. "Cant you see I'm trying to sleep?" She mumbled with her usual sarcastic smirk. The teacher made an unsatisfied sound. "Well, if you think you can just sleep during cla- mrmrm" Nik put her finger over the teacher's mouth. "Shhhh, dear. Nobody wants to hear you babble anymore." She reclined back again just as the bell rang, giving another signature smirk.

Niyah held back a gasp at Nik's impertinent audacity, though she should have been used to it by now. Ah well, at least someone tried to break the boredrom of this hidously mind-numbing class...Niyah turned to stare balefully out the window. She could almost smell the sea salt, and hear the breakers crashing against the shore- but not yet. Not for another.. three hours. She groaned quietly and fumbled around in a small rucksack she always carried, though there was nothing in there acutally worth anything.. Save for a tiny carved chunk of coral, from some far-off uninhabited island in the sea someplace.. Niyah thought about how wonderful it would be to stay on one of those islands, someday- they could eat coconuts, and bask in the sun, and swim in the clear water with the dolphins and turtles- Her daydream was shattered by Nik being.. herself again. Niyah turned to watch in interest. 

The setting is on the huge, beautiful cruise ship, the SS Cry of the Sea. It has many things to do; food, fun, learning, and shopping! Each student is to share a cabin with one other student of the same gender. The cabins are nice and comfortable, and sea themed!

Cabins- where the students are to sleep and do homework, etc.

Cafe- great place for lunch!

Classrooms- where class will be held for the students.

Lounge- fun with friends!

pool- swimming!

Outside Decks- great for sunbathing, taking pictures, or just walking around!

Uncharted Island- an unknown island in the Atlantic Ocean. Why would the ship stop here....?

A great opportunity for students looking for adventure has risen. The students will arrive at one of the sea ports in New York and from there, will travel the world learning about different cultures, all while being kept completely safe on the ship... or so they think.

Apparently, there is a large group of sharp rocks, just off the coast of a few uncharted islands. It is directly in their course.

On the SS Cry of the Sea, a new program instituted by the National School Board is allowing students from certain colleges to travel abroad for a semester. Any student who has grade averages of 88% or higher is welcome to board the ship with little to no additional fee. We will be visiting many great historical places such as: Rome, Paris, Easter Island,New Cuba,and many other extremely fascinating destinations! Sign up dates are from May 31-June 5, sign up quickly because cabin space is limited~
Remember! You are in great hands with the ship and crew! You have nothing to worry about! Nothing can bring this ship down- Not underwater mountains, volcanoes, storms, or even hurricanes- You are completely safe with us! Bring your camera!

2) Keep this slightly realistic! Characters have to eat, sleep, use the bathroom, and shower like normal people! XD

3) No perfect characters or Mary/Gary Sues that know everything 8I

4) Please don't Godmod/PowerPlay!

5) VERY mild swearing is alright, but keep it to a bare minimum please!

6) Romance is okay, don't take it too far or I will come over there and hit you with a rubber chicken very hard >8u

7) Keep everything PG-13 plz~

8) put the word Pancakemoobutt in your character's additional notes so I know you read everything 8I I will not accept characters who did not read this stuff!

9) no pets in the pool area please. Thank You.
