Hi, my name is Gracie and I started collecting data to make this tutorial, oh!- probably a little over a month ago... I was originally intending to give it to my club (Go Quill!), but I have recently decided to share it with all of Exhibited instead, because I wasn't able to find this information anywhere else on the boards.

NOTE: This guide is not completely finished, because I still have to collect all the rare enrichment items, and find out what stat boosts each item gives to your dinosaurs; as mentioned by Kitty in this news post. If you know the answers to this mystery, or would like to help get them; please feel free to try it on your own and relay your results to me in the comments. Thank you!

What Are Enrichment Items?
Enrichment items are like toys that you assign to an enclosure so that you can play with the dinosaurs inside and keep their happiness at 100%. The following is a list of the costs and uses of the enrichment items at your disposal:

* 1 use can entertain up to 10 dinosaurs. For example; I currently own 8 Utahraptors - that means that if I were to buy a yellow ball, I could use it for 5 days (unless I get more raptors, which would make it fewer days).


Why Are Enrichment Items Important?
Enrichment items are important, because if you don't play with your dinosaurs they will lose 10% of their happiness every day. After about 10 days of no entertainment your dinosaurs will be at 0% happiness, and dinosaurs who are that unhappy will start to lose 10% health for every day that they stay unhappy. Thankfully, playing with an enrichment item boosts an unhappy dinosaur back up to 100%.


How Do I Use An Enrichment Item?
Go to the enrichment store and buy an enrichment item. Once you've done that, click on "Farm" in the top lefthand of the navigation to go to your farm:



Next click on "Jump to dinosaurs?" to scroll down to your enclosures and then click on one:


Now scroll down to where it says, "Enrichment", and click on the enrichment item or the arrow to select one from the drop-down menu:



Once you have chosen your enrichment item, click "Add" to assign it to the enclosure:



Congratulations! You can now use the enrichment item once a day to play with your dinosaurs. To do this; go to the enclosure, scroll down to "Enrichment", and click on "Play":




How can I Save Money on Enrichment Items?
Simple; buy the balls. Assuming my math is correct, no matter which of the remaining enrichment toys you pit the balls against; they are always the least expensive option. Still not convinced? I did the math so you don't have to:

The Rock Formation, Small Cave, Surveying Point, Swinging Tyre, Cone and all four ball colors have 5 uses each; yet the balls are $9,000 less than the Rock formation ($12,500 - $3,500); $6,500 cheaper than the Small Cave ($10,000 - $3,500); and $1,500 less than the Surveying Point, Swinging Tyre and Cone ($5,000 - $3,500).

Now let's compare them against the Large Cave (10 uses), and the Waterfall Formation (25 uses):

To get 10 uses out of the balls you would need to buy 2 balls (5 x 2 = 10 uses) and compress them together (make sure they're the same color!). Now you have a ball with 10 uses, and spent $7,000 to get it. If you subtract that from the cost of the Large Cave, you get a savings of $18,000!

Now you're probably thinking: Yeah, but the Waterfall Formation has 25 uses so it's a better deal. To that I say: Is it really? Let's look at the math shall we:

To get a ball with 25 uses, all you have to do is buy 5 balls of the same color and compress them (5 x 5 = 25 uses). Congratulations!- You've made a ball with 25 uses for only $17,500. Now how much did that Waterfall Formation cost again? $50,000! That means that you just saved yourself $32,500 ($50,000 - $17,500). Wowza!


How do I Compress Enrichment Items?
For this question, we'll use a Red Ball as an example. First, go to your inventory:


Then click on "Item Compressor":


Now select your enrichment item from the drop-down list:


And click "Compress Items!":
