The used-to-be magical land o Animsai. THere is a castle district, where the nobles live, as well as the royalty. The streets here are sae... at least, they used to be.

The Merchant district. Middle class people, and lots of shops and stalls. Pretty sae, just watch out for pick pockets.

The Adversa district... Run down by criminals. Not safe at all.

Beyond that, woods. A few people have houses on the brim. Sae if you can deal with the wilderness. Beyond that, who knows....

The three districs and the woods make a kind of target shape. THey are all circular, the castle district is in the middle, surrounded by the merchant district, surrounded by the Adversa district, surrounded by woods. Make sense?

In the kingdom of Animsai, all is not well. The princess has gone missing under grim circumstances, and the kingdom is in a general state of unrest. 

All of the wizards have lost their magic. 

The lead wizard has had a dream. In his dream, he was shown the faces of several heroes.

Without wasting any time, the now powerless wizard sent out messages to them, bidding them to come to the castle.

After all, they were the kingdom's last hope.

*Pant pant*

A girl is running for her life. She is running away from the thing... only 12, a thin little girl. Her eyes are red, bloodred, her hair is white like snow.

The little girl is a princess. But her dress is torn, her pretty shoes are slowing her down, and her crown has long ago fallen off. She skids around the corner.

Dead end.

The thing is right behind her...

That night, screams echoed off the castle walls. THe king and queen recognized them as their daughters...

She was not in bed. 

SHe was not in bed, nad the princess had screamed.

All that was ever found was a shred of silk, a broken crown, and at a dead end, the letter R written in blood.

Princess blood.

Complicated rules here.

Violation of rules will result in deletion after one warning only.

You can only have one character. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Your character can NOT be from another land/kingdom in any way shape or form, NOR may they be royalty or work at the palace.

For the love of god, no Mary-Sues.

Your character is a wizard/witch that has LOST ALL POWER. No exceptions.

YOu can live in any of the districts, or on the skirt of the woods. You can not live deep in the woods, nor can you have ever been deep in the woods.

No pets. This will be explained later on.

Your character can recieve the message however you wish..

In the charaacter submssion, I need a description of an animal that you feel personifies your character. We will need these later on, but for now, please just describe it for me. Your character is NOT aware of it's existance, and it must be a real animal. It can have odd colors if you wish.

I may need to add more rules later on.

-------Note about Mavis-------------------------------------------------------

Mavis is a character that will acompany your characters on their journey. The premise of her existance is Mary-Sue-ish, but it had to happen. Mavis exists to guide your characters in the right direction. I know, its Mary Sue. But bear with me, as the character herself is not. EVen though she can help your characters, she's far from perfect, and she will likely cause a few problems that your characters will have to resolve.

She will not be constantly there, so don't worry. Your characters DO NOT know her, but they may have heard of her if you wish.
