Everywhere in the Monster Hunter video games: Pokke Village, the jungle, the desert, the old jungle, Loc Lac City, etc.

It is in the somewhat distant future, and you are a monster hunter who, well, hunts monsters. Dragons, giant insects, and many bizarre creatures roam the planet. However, there has been a sudden outbreak of a mysterious illness, not unlike the feral wyvern virus caused by the Gore Magala; but instead of causing monsters to act as if they were in constant rage and causing humans to weaken, the fury dragon virus causes all monsters infected with it to become much deadlier and become enraged beyond compare, attacking anything and everything in their path. Because of this, many humans and monsters have died. The leaders of towns and villages try to avoid letting their people know so they don't panic. The only ones who know of the virus are monster hunters, the monsters themselves, town and village leaders, and the Monster hunting guild. No humans are thought to have the fury dragon virus, but some are starting to become angrier than usual...The monster hunters are all trying to find a cure before things can escalate.

Same as plot; monsters live along side humans, and have been hunted by them for a long time. A deadly virus was discovered and threatens many monsters and humans. New species of monsters have been discovered, including:

 

Whiplash: Medium-sized reptiles, usually 10-12 feet long(not counting the tail) and 5-6 feet tall. They way 1,000-1,500 pounds. They have powerful hooked claws and a small horn on their nose. They have long ears(usually 5 inches) and a long tail for which they are named. The tails are 9 feet long, 6 feet being thin and whip-like, with a large spike at the end. There are spikes along the back of their necks. They are typically green with red stripes and live in the Great Forest. They're eyes are green when calm, and red and orange like fire when enraged.

Their subspecies are known as Lightning Wipplashes and use thunder element. They're blue with yellow stripes. They're eyes are blue when calm, and black and gray like storm clouds when enraged.

1. Basic rules:no extreme gore, swearing, etc.

2. Try to keep it PG-13.

3. You can have 4 monster characters and 2 human characters.

4. Please be sure to include your characters weapon class(if they're human) when creating them.

5. Monsters can talk, but they can not speak directly to humans, and humans can't speak directly to monsters. The only exceptions are felynes, melynxes, and shakalakas because they can talk.

6. Please suggest species to add, whether they're actually in the games or not.
