Setting
a new planet named insolitus
is around 7 billions years old and has begun to develop aquatic life, the air is warm, and toxic meaning no person can settle there. The life there however, is unique, evolving from very primitive fish and other things to survive such temperatures and air.
there are only small islands so far, as most of the land is covered with semi-toxic waters, about 90% water.ÂÂÂ
in the veopocian stage, there is only aquatic life, several different species of fish, all somewhat adapted to the waters in which they live. the main species, however, dominate these waters.
the current islands are:
ÂÂÂ
Ruphrim islands:
the smallest islands are here, and for the moment; mainly flat due to the glaciers that pounded it's surfaces a few billion years ago. there is a small volcano on the main island, named ruphrim, which in turn gave these small islands their names!
Doredan island:
the largest island so far, and certainly the most dangerous if your species is not fit to live here...why? most of the island is covered in volcanos, the largest one giving the island it's name. it erupts every so often. but these eruptions can cause a species to go extinct. Loricious seem to thrive along the coastline.
Noratus island:
the second largest island here, known mainly for the strange things growing there. plants. only small grasses not yet quite adapted to fit life on the island, though it does hold the future of the land animals that could live here.
Coronus ocean:
this is the ocean in which you will live in throughout the veopocian age, it seems almost clear, except for the acidic and toxic parts around some reefs, and especially doredan island. it has underwater volcanoes, which constantly spew out black clouds of ash like material.

ÂÂÂ
Plot
You are an animal, small or large, living on Insolitus, and through the first stage on the 7 billion year old planet after a long ice age hid the planet from life.ÂÂÂ
the stage has a unique name, veopocian, meaning young stage in greek(if i translated to english correctly?)
ÂÂÂ
and you never know, the species you are may dominate the land one day....or it could e the shadow of something grander, merely invisible to the world.
History
After the forming of insolitus, it was a rough road. although no life existed, it's been through:
small ice ages
a huge ice age, this gave way to land, however, it deposited a lot of water.
several major volcanic eruptions.
and life.
ÂÂÂ
Rules
1. general EX RP rules.
2. body language only, the animals here cannot speak! (yet, i don't know if i'm ever going to change this.)
3. pay attention to where your animal is in. if you're a tuluu, do not go wandering into the toxic waters, because you won't live long! unless, you know, you're bored.
4. odd coloration is certainly allowed! however, no neon or rainbow coloration, please.
5. pay attention to the RP master notes! they will contain information regarding changes to the climate, or events that could, or are happening on the planet. Why? because these notes could extinct the entire species in time. c:
6.it will take a loooooong time for aquatic life to adapt to grow on land, again, notes will be posted on which species looks ready to adapt first!ÂÂÂ
7. your character CAN DIE. beware of other creatures, as they can prove deadly for you, or your character's offspring :)
 8. young animals(all of them) grow up to adulthood at 2 years of age!
Species and their information:
Loricious:
a medium sized aquatic reptile about the length of a young adult human and the height of a small car. it looks like a raptor built for swimming, but it's head is wide, and more crocodilian. The gills on the side of it's face are quite large, and get even bigger when the animal breathes, not only does this capture more oxygen, but it can also scare off potential predators! the loricious mainly feeds on small fish and shell fish that are quite a ways away from doredan island, where they thrive. weighs about 600 pounds.ÂÂÂ
Tuluu:
the largest animal in the veopocian, it easily dominates the majority of the seas, minus the toxic parts. it is the length of 3 buses, and the height of a large truck. it's weight is a temendous 5 tons. the tuluu almost looks like a nightmare: you might say it would look like a cross between a dolphin, a crocodile, and a frilled shark. it feeds on whatever it can get it's mouth around, and in desparate times, even underwater plants.
Qui:
a small eel-like fish with an elongated crocodilian snout, like a gharial. it lives in the semi-toxic waters in small reefs. the qui is the longest animal here, about the length of about 5 buses. it relies on fish in their shells to eat. the qui migrates to colder waters for feeding every year, but strangely they do not breed here. and daringly enough, when the tuluus come around to raise their young, the qui will prey apon these massive babies. weighs about 700 pounds. During the breeding season, the females fight for the males, what's even more peculiar, you ask? well, the males are smaller, weighing around 300-500 pounds, and the length of 2 buses.
Riile:
a rather wolf-like reptile creature with the strangest of appearances. it's feet are webbed, and reptilian, but the rest of it seems to look like a hairless wolf. but the oddity does not stop there, it has spines on it's legs(all four of them), neck, and back. they're similar to a porcupine, but do not fall out when they strike something. these spines make them look bigger, and are also used to entice the ladies. these spines also inject some kind of poison into their attacker, which could end their life. so eating the riile is no easy feet. and surprisingly, the riile is the first mainly omnivorous predator. Riiles are about the length of an average lion, and the height of a normal riile goes up to about the hip of a normal, full grown human. weighs in at about 1 ton
Nautilus:
the largest fish around. it's about the size of a large great white shark, but only half the length. it's a gentle giant, feeding on plants. it's one of the main prey animals of the tuluus, but other than that it gets left alone. weighs about 1.5 tons.
