Clash of the Talons
Setting

Engannor -

A lush forest that is blessed with the powers of life magic, this is where the Bloodtalons make their home. In the center of this forest is a single large hill where the Bloodtalon village known as Bloodshire sits.

Ebonnar -

A dark and cold forest where life is scarce due to centuries of abuse by the Ebontooth. On the northern edge of this dreary land is a snow covered hill where the Ebontooth village of Deatholm looks over the surrounding area.

Plot

Thousands of years ago, a strange object fell from space and crashed into the center of a continent filled with primordial life. A month had passed when a group of raptors stumbled onto the impact crater while out on a hunt. Curiosity took over these feathered creatures as they were drawn to the tall metal object that stood at the center of the hole in the ground. When one of the raptors pecked the object, a flash of bright light came out of the strange object and knocked them all into a coma for a couple of days. When they woke up, the raptors had noticed that they have changed both in appearance and in mind. They stood more upright than they used to, they now have thumbs which they could use to grasp objects, and they even have a language now.

For the next thousand years, this group of raptors, which have dubbed themselves the Bloodtalon, have gradually become more advanced as they created a variety of tools, learned to tame animals for use as pets or mounts, and have even made a large village up on top of a hill. As they became more advanced, the Bloodtalon raptors noticed that many individuals had different abilities than the rest of the tribe. Some were simply larger and could take more damage than normal, some could turn almost invisible, some could even use the powers of the elements to heal their peers or do damage to opponents.

Shortly after they have discovered their new powers, the Bloodtalon encountered another tribe of raptors that have dubbed themselves as the Ebontooth. This rival tribe had powers that allowed them to raise the dead, use blood to heal or dish out damage, and even screech so loudly and ungodly that fear would soak into individuals' bones. Both tribes were unaccepting of each others' magic and have warred with each other, along with many other tribes, to this very day.

Will you fight Ebontooths to honor your ancestors or will you fight Bloodtalons to create more minions for your tribe?

History

As it has been for centuries, the Bloodtalon and the Ebontooth, along with many other tribes, have been fighting each other for supremacy over the continent in which they live. You have just reached the age in which you can go out to war with those of other tribes. Each tribe has their own set of classes that your character can fill the role of:

Bloodtalon Classes:

Berserker: The Berserker is a large individual who uses the powers of the earth to protect him/herself from incoming damage while using his/her anger to dish out loads of damage with his/her axe. The Berserker is the Bloodtalon Tank Class.

Druid: The Druid uses the powers of surrounding plant life to heal him/herself and nearby allies to keep the fight going. The Druid is the Bloodtalon Healer Class.

War Drummer: The Wardrummer carries around an enchanted drum that he/she uses to empower his/her allies. The Wardrummer is the Bloodtalon Buffer Class.

Shaman: The Shaman uses the powers of fire and water to attack enemies from a distance. He/she can also summon elementals to help in long or difficult battles. The Shaman is the Bloodtalon Caster Class.

Hunter: The Hunter fights from a distance using his/her trusty bow while fighting alongside his/her trusty pet Fang Runner (a type of small tyrannosaur slightly smaller than their Bloodtalon masters). The Hunter is the Bloodtalon Ranger Class.

Scout: The Scout uses the powers of air to turn themselves invisible to sneak up on enemies. The Scout is the Bloodtalon Rogue Class.

Head Hunter: The Head Hunter prefers to simply charge at his/her enemies with his/her war axe and aim for the throat. The Head Hunter also uses throwing axes as projectiles. The Head Hunter is the Bloodtalon Melee DPS Class.

Ebontooth Classes:

Death Knight: The Death Knight wears bone armor to protect him/herself from incoming damage and uses his/her rune sword to dish out damage. The Death Knight is the Ebontooth Tank Class.

Dark Priest: The Dark Priest uses the powers of blood to heal him/herself and nearby allies. The Dark Priest is the Ebontooth Healer Class.

Banshee: The Banshee uses extremely loud screams to boost the moral of nearby allies. The Banshee is the Ebontooth Buffer Class.

Warlock: The Warlock uses the powers of blood and shadow to attack enemies from a distance. The Warlock can also raise up zombies to fight alongside in long or difficult battles. The Warlock is the Ebontooth Caster Class.

Marksman: The Marksman uses his/her bow to shoot at enemies from a distance while his/her undead Night Stalker (a type of Troodont) fights them head on. The Marksman is the Ebontooth Ranger Class.

Spy: The Spy can consume shadows to turn him/herself invisible to sneak up on enemies. The Spy is the Ebontooth Rogue Class.

Reaper: The Reaper uses his/her scythe to slice into enemies. The Reaper uses the heads that he/she has decapitated as projectiles to throw at enemies. The Reaper is the Ebontooth Melee Dps Class.

Rules

Have a detailed profile for your character including what class they are.

Do not godmod, and follow the general EX roleplaying roles.

Keep it PG-13 when it comes to violence and language.

Don't kill another person's character without their permission.

You must have an equal amount of Bloodtalon and Ebontooth characters.

Romance is fine as long as it isn't too graphic. Even romance between a Bloodtalon and an Ebontooth is fine, though both will end up being viewed as traitors by their tribes.
