Ceara pulled back until she was in sitting position. She wasn't sure what else she could do besides watch him with unblinking eyes. Her head dipped forward to stare at him more intently. His behavior amused her as much as it confused her. It didn't make much sense to her, but she enjoyed it.

Inwardly Maria was beside herself with tears of amusement. This was something she promised to use against him if she ever got the chance to do so without getting in trouble. At the same time, she believed that each person's wolf revealed something hidden about themselves that they weren't willing to admit. Whether Orca's secret was that he really had a playful personality or had missed out on the importance of a childhood, which was now being acted through his wolf, she deemed it something worthy of looking into.

The wolf went back to sitting like Ceara. He tilted his head so far that one ear flopped over a little. His green eyes sparkled with curiosity. He had seen pups be put into these cages before but never an adult. That was why he only had interest in Ceara and not the pups.

But the easily distracted animal caught sight of something different and moved his attention to that. It was another wolf, one that he played with almost every full moon. It was a female with white fur and grey flecks on her muzzle, ears, paws and the tip of her tail. But she wasn't aging and she had the grey fur since birth.

She barked at him and he bolted toward her. She turned and ran as fast as she could, Orca's wolf hot on her tail

Ceara shifted on her paws until she was back into the position of perfect posture, watching the other wolves go about their business. It slightly disconcerted her, seeing so many in what seemed to her as such a small place, but she didn't let the uneasiness show.

She was, in some ways, grateful for the cage around her. It kept her from feeling obligated to interact with any of the others or having to spend any of her time avoiding them. Being kept in a single area would get irritating, but for the moment she had little to complain about.

A few mintues past before Clayton's wolf noticed Ceara. He could tell that she was a friend of his human couterpart from her scent. Of course she had a slightly different scent then when she was human, but it was close enough.

He was well aware that just because the human halves were friends, did not mean that they would get along. He walked slowly over to the cage but stopped a few steps short. He said down and looked at her. He lowered his head a little and tilted it. There wasn't much he could do with Ceara when she was in a cage, but he still wanted to meet her.

Ceara looked over at Clayton's wolf and stared at him without a blink. Then, slowly, she unsettled herself, flicked her tail, and moved close to the bars to push her nose against it and make a snuffling noise at him. She knew who it was, and she could feel, at the farthest reaches of her mind, Maria becoming intently interested and eager to see how she treated him.

So far Ceara hadn't had a problem with any of the other wolves, and if there was one that she would never have a bone to pick with, it would be Clayton's. Even if she had wanted to, if he had done something to upset her, her instincts told her that danger would come to her in the form of a terribly angry Maria.

The wolf took Ceara moving closer to him as permission that he could come up to her. He moved slowly up to the cage and touched her nose with his. He then pulled back and his tail wagged softly. He was one hundred percent sure now that Ceara was who he thought she was. This was the wolf that had run free, that had been beyond the fence. He envyed her greatly for that, but also somewhat idolized her.

Behind the fence were a few humans who were watching the wolves. There job was to not only make sure no fights broke out, but to also judge if a new wolf could be added into the pack. From what they had seen, they were leaning towards allowing Ceara to join the pack.

The next step was to let her come in contact with other wolves, however she would not be allowed free roam of the place just yet. They would tie her up so she couldn't run off into a big group of wolves. Also it made it easier to stop her if she starting fighting.

Of course none of them wanted to go into a cage with a werewolf. It wasn't like they could just slip a collar on her and walk her out. One person took up a dart gun. He started changing out the dart for a lesser dose so that she wouldn't be out for long.

Ceara wagged her tail back at Clayton's wolf in a friendly gesture, glad that he had taken to her so quickly. She knew she would enjoy him once she was let outside of the cage. He would be fun, she felt, to teach to hunt.

Ceara wasn't foolish, and Maria was still highly vigilante - they both noticed immediately the sound of the dart gun being loaded. Ceara swung her head away from the wolf before her and looked directly at the human, made a keening noise, then laid down. She seemed to glare into this persons eyes as if daring them to try, then tucked her nose between her paws.

The man was a little offput by how Ceara looked at him. However it did not stop him from making the shot. The dart embedded itself into the black wolf's sholder and injected the liquid from inside.

The wolf jumped backward, suprised and confused. His ears went back and his lips curled, as if he expected a fight. It was a reaction that Clayton would not ever have done. Rather than readying for a fight Clayton would have coward away.

The man rested the dart gun on his sholder then looked over at the brown wolf and smiled, amused.

"Oh calm down." He said. The wolf did not obey and stayed in a guarded possision.

Ceara hardly flinched. The pain wasn't as great as she had anticipated, but Clayton's wolf's reaction was far more surprising than she had bargained for. It made her like him even more. She was beginning to understand why her human had such a liking for his human.

Maria scoffed darkly at the human.

How typical, she thought when she saw the dart gun. Too afraid to deal with nature head on.

As Ceara's eyelids began to close and her vision grew spotty, the two agreed that this was far from a suitable place for a werewolf. They had already agreed, somewhere in their souls long ago, that they would escape along with Clayton no matter the cost, but in that moment the decision was solidified by their unified thoughts.

Two people came into the cage once Ceara was out. Working together they picked up the unconscious animal. Outside of the cage Clayton's wolf lowered his head and growled, very clearly upset about his new friend being knocked out. However there was very little he could do. Plus he had the rather annoying thoughts in the back of his head of Clayton telling him not to do anything stupid.

They straped a thick collar around Ceara neck and attached a strong chain to it to serve as a leash. Rather than going into the fenced area they shut off a small area of the electric fence. They then lifted Ceara in the air and gave her a toss over the fence. It wasn't that high up and wouldn't cause any damage to the wolf.

Ceara had already woken when they were lifting her in the air - Maria long ago had spent time building up a tolerance to many different drugs, and it had served them well many times. Before she could hit the ground she tucked her paws in and rolled on her side, protecting her limbs from any harm, and quickly standing up to her feet. She gave the humans a withering glare with her eyes but made no noise or move.

Maria had a few words she would have loved to say at that moment, but she bit them back, hoping to not urge Ceara into a temper. If either of them had made any kind of sound or had any kind of violent thought they both knew it would all be over - they would fly into a unified rage and ruin everything they were working for.

Ceara walked slowly over to the fence and sat, staring at it with an odd concentration.

The wolf's ears perked up when he realised what they were doing. He was a little worried about approching Ceara though since she did not look very happy. He took a few steps toward her then layed down in the grass. He stretched out his neck and layed it down on his paws.

He wanted Ceara to not see him as a threat. Even though she apeared to like him before, she seemed to be a bit upset at the moment. He whined softly so that she would know that he was there. Since we was not facing toward him at the moment.

Ceara's ears twitched, but for a few moments she refused to move, as if she were having a very important conversation with someone. She swiveled her head slowly in an owlish fashion to look over her shoulder much the way Maria would, staring deep into the wolf's eyes. Then she stood, turned her body to align it with her head, and slowly padded over to lay down adjacent of him at the length of her lead.

He was an agreeable wolf - protective, but not rash to act, it seemed. She could almost imagine hunting along side him or spending time stretched out in a partictularly strong sunbeam for a nap.

The wolf reached his head out slowly to sniff Ceara. His tail started wagging. He had his own joy, but also the feelings of Clayton who was very relieved to see that Maria's wolf was being friendly. He did not want to see her have to be stuck in the kennel.

The wolf sat up slowly. That was when he noticed the chain holding Ceara back. If wolves could frown, he would have. What was the point of being inside the fence if you could not run around. He reached over and sniffed the collar around Ceara's neck, then whined softly.

Ceara pulled back slightly. Though Maria, who had usually lived an isolated life, craved the physical attention she had been robbed of in her childhood, Ceara was rather content to be left alone. She wasn't against the company of other creatures (though she was unused to it), but she was far from accustomed to physical contact. It made her uncomfortable - she wasn't sure how to react to it.

Ceara stared at Clayton's wolf, blinked, and sat up. She chose at that moment that her act of rebellion towards having been put on a leash with a collar would be to never stray close enough to where the lead started for it to go slack, so she remained where she was, the leash pulled taut.

The Pound
Setting

The facility has walls lined with cells, each consisting of three concrete walls, a bare floor, a low ceiling and a wall of clear acryilic which faces the aisle and doubles as a door.

Presently, it's morning and the pound as just opened up for the day.

Plot

The world is such that is condones slavery-- of gifteds, werewolves, vampires and the like. The slave trade is a booming industry, making millionaires within months. Everyone has their own reasons for owning the creatures, some require extra help around the house, others see it as a way to display their wealth, and still others buy them just for the pleasure of breaking them.

As with all things, some people grow tired of their slaves. Now, selling them would take time and energy that some either don't have or are unwilling to waste it on a slave. That is where the 'pound' comes in. They take the discarded slaves, no questions asked and sell them for cheap.

History
The roleplay was made.
Rules

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PLOT WAS NOT MADE UP BY ME!

This roleplay as copied straight from another roleplay from a website called MaraPets. The person who made this roleplay is called Rainkit. Do not give me credit for this, as I did not think of it.

Also please note that I do not in anyway think that slavery is okay in real life!

You may join as a human, gifted, werewolf or vampire.

Humans are never slaves.

Please keep the number of humans and slaves around even, without both of them the roleplay doesn't work.

Don't make slaves with extreamly dangerous powers, they would have been killed, not sold as slaves.

The point of the roleplay is not to stay in the pound, humans should come in and buy slaves then take them home. It is the person who is controling the human's responsabilty to create a setting. For example a farmhouse, or a big expensive house.

Don't make masters who treat their slave's as equals, its over used and quite frankly, really boring.

You can make a slave who was born into slavery or has never spend a day of their lives as slaves, just make up a good reason why they were never caught.

A quick note on slave breeding. First off don't roleplay anyone doing the deed please!

Second, for werewolves they will give birth to a litter rather than a single child. This is because they cannot change from human to wolf while pregnate or they'll kill their children. Since full moon forces a change, they got to stay as a wolf 100% of the time while pregnate. The litter will be born as pups and will stay as pups until about a month or so until they can shift to their human form.
