That baby T-Rex is probably one of the cutest dinosaurs I've ever seen.
It reminds me of my babykitten, going "Rawrz!"

Can we breed these now?

Kitty, ALL the babies are SO Cute...but, they need to have larger EYES and narrower legs...the feathers are anyones guess...think 'Down' instead of well developed feathers. ALL theropod dinosaur babies are CUTE, FUZZY, and BITE! -- PWS

PWS, isn't that... well... kind of up to the artist to decide? Skinnier legs? Living in a world like they do, they'd probably have to adapt and be able to walk (run away) from birth... and not all baby's eyes are huge. -points to baby crocodiles and birds-

Yes..it is up to the artist...but, I look at the actual fossil material. Besides, there is a reason for big eyes [the cute factor] and thin-long legs [fast running after hatching].

Babies have to be cute or...their mothers would eat them.

PWS, animals don't care what their babies look like. It's how they smell.

But in real life, whoever it was is correct, birds and reptiles don't have big eyes as babies like mammals do. (At least I don't think they do.)
By PostWarSalvage (#146) on 17-06-2010 08:28:23
For MAMMALS this is true...but for BIRDS and ARCHOSAURIAN REPTILES [Gators & Crocs] Sound and Visual recognition is more important Smell is secondary although many Bird and Reptiles do have well developed senses of smell, it isn't wired to the brain the same as in mammals. Hence the reason BIRDS and CROCS can dine on food most mammals would turn their noses to.
