Introduction

As your boat docks in a harbor on the north side of an island just 500 miles north of Brazil; you read a sign that states 'Welcome to the Island of Ancient Lost Falls'. Exiting the boat, you carefully step onto the sand beach and start to follow a trail just off the beach that led into another world entirely different than what exists now.

Appearance: A tall, handsome, well built male with spiky brown hair with dark red streaks on the tips that are longer on top and shorter at his neck. He is about 6'2" in height. He has blue eyes and very pale skin. Zandalen wears a necklace around his neck with a canine tooth from a bear. On his left ear is a golden earring.
As a hyena he is rather large with a dusty grey pelt with dark stripes.He has long fur from his head to his tail-tip.The earring is still visible but it is located more towards the top of his ear. In the right light a red patch can be seen on his paws and throat which seems to look like blood.

Personality: He is very bitter and often snaps at others. He often crackles or laughs darkly at random times but the laughter never seems to reach his eyes, which seem to stare straight through you. He can be described as a cool voiced know-it-all, with a bad temper and a kind of sadistic humor.

History: Zandalen never actually received a letter. He was stolen from his family when he was ten. He was happy at home, especially when he discovered he could change in to a hyena. He would often change shape to get away from all his problems which lead ironically to the Day Break School. He had accidentally shape shifted during his original school when a bully had shoved him into a wall. What happen to the bully is uncertain and is now just a rumor that floats around his home school.
That night he was kidnapped when the clock in his old bedroom struck twelve he disappeared, to never be seen by his family again.
Now he takes pleasure in messing with the newbies of his barrack, often hiding spiders or other things he finds around the school campus.
