Welcome to Haru Ranch, specializing in bambiraptors and albertosaurs! Haru is the original form of the Egyptian name Hor, which means "falcon." Since raptors are feathered and likely related to birds, and many of the raptors here are of the smaller kind, the name simply fits the current state of the ranch.

Please do take a look around, but be careful; many of these once-extinct animals may look cute and are relatively used to human contact, but they are still wild animals, and should be respected!

Haru Ranch currently breeds bambiraptors and albertosaurs, with a "mascot" of a spinosaurus.

The bambiraptors live in the Beta Battalion enclosure, a smaller space that will soon be expanded for future bambiraptor enjoyment. There are currently four, two males and two females! Feel free to pet these small raptors; however, do so at your own risk, as they may nip.

The Delta Division enclosure houses one of our newest additions: Ramman the spinosaurus! One of our new mascots, Ramman is relatively friendly, though petting is discouraged due to those tiny little teeth of his. As spinosaurs were most likely mainly fish-eaters, Ramman is almost exclusively fed fish, and he does love his fish heads!

Alpha Expanse houses our two albertosaurs, Nizhoni and Hinto! Do feel free to pet them, as they are rather nice and enjoy the human contact. We are attempting to socialize them so that eventually they may be taken throughout the ranch to entertain our guests and show them some of the larger carnivores that walked this earth. Hopefully we will have a fine foundation for a breeding program from these two!

Haru Ranch is also home to two small herds of herbivores, located in the Theta Troop and Sigma Section enclosures: the gallimimus herd and the Hyracotherium herd (affectionately known as the ponies). The gallimimuses were the first herbivores to be brought to Haru Ranch, mostly for a future source of food for our raptors. The ponies, however, are largely for fun; Golden really likes horses, and these small equines seemed to be the perfect little creatures to be running around the ranch, albeit a good distance away from the raptors! Visitors are more than welcome to pet these pint-sized equines if the ponies allow it; they are quite friendly.

It's been a looooong time since I've updated, seeing as school has been super busy and sucks away tons of my time, as well as there hasn't been much to talk about. I'm still making tags, and am thinking about starting with dilophosaurs when my current spino dies or leaves. I also wanted to note that one of my coelacanths, Kappa, has reached the Hall of Fame at a weight of 90 lbs and up! Wow!

School is nearly upon me once again, and I'm sad to say that I likely won't be on Exhibited nearly as much then as I was this summer (though knowing me, I just might be on even more!). In the past few days I have made two new additions to the creatures at the ranch: I have added a male spinosaurus and two albertosaurs, all youngsters. I've wanted a spinosaurus since they came out, since they are one of my favorite dinosaurs, and the albertos have very nice artwork, not to mention that they are actually somewhat "rideable" as they don't have that giant sail! They might end up being some sort of character or mascot for the ranch. I'm also planning an auction for one art slot, since I won't be doing much during the school year; just one slot for some sort of entirely custom artwork that I'll hopefully get some good scales and money from. :P

Well, the layout is all nice and set for future use, and I have to admit it looks quite nice. I may just have to open up layouts for sale here. :D Also got back from Hawai'i and it was wondefullllllll. That explains my absence for a whole week. Otherwise, things are going well; school is all right, dinos are progressing quite well, and things are just going great right now. Not terribly much more to talk about!

I joined Exhibited back when it was rather new (hence the low account number) and only became truly interested in it long after this initial sign-up (as in log-on-each-day interested). Ever since then, I've been completely hooked! EX is now my favorite SIM; after all, you may be able to work with dogs and horses in real life, but who gets to work with dinosaurs? :D

I am a high-schooler on the West Coast. I love horses, wolves, dragons, dinosaurs (duh) and other various creatures. I'm an awesome drawer with paper (at least people say so), with a big imagination for that sort of stuff, though I also like to dabble in painting and charcoal work. I enjoy reading, drawing, playing EX, some role-playing, horseback riding, and other stuff. I have a Pit mix named Alli and a Boxer named Roxy, and the horse I love the most at my barn is Bandit, a Norwegian Fjord/American Paint cross. I'm a bit of a plane nut, especially when it comes to World War II planes; the P-38 Lightning is my absolute favorite. My favorite movies are the Bourne Trilogy, the Harry Potter series, and Transformers 1 and 3, among others. My favorite TV shows are Lost, Burn Notice, and Modern Family. I mostly enjoy rock music, especially that of Crash Kings, Matchbox Twenty, and some Black Keys just for fun, but really I'll listen to anything as long as it's not heavy rap. I also have a weakness for film soundtracks, especially those from my favorite movies. My fave books are the Harry Potter series, The Sight, anything by Michael Crichton, and other various books. And yes, I am a Christian. Nor am I a Twilight fan. Get over it.
