Viewing Paya's Farm - Skunk Works
Jump to dinosaurs?

Skunk Works takes inspiration from many sources: the methods used by Lockheed in the 1950s and 1960s to build fleet of combat aircraft unequaled before or since; the gleefully anarchic Project Mayhem in Fight Club; the life of the hunt and the honorable kill practiced by the Yautja in the Predators film and book franchises; and the bitter, fierce determination in the face of overwhelming odds of Leonidas and his famous three hundred at the battle of Thermopylae.

Skunk Works trains, works, and breeds high-quality Archaeopteryx and Deinonychus with an eye to high stats and perfect genes. Color is a matter of personal preference, and is not used as a basis for breeding here. Stud service is available to raptors with minimum scores of 400 in intelligence, speed, and strength; and who display no more than two genetic faults. Stud fees are $50,000 for males and $75,000 for females. I do not breed any of my own dinosaurs below level 25.

Eggs and Hatchlings are occasionally available. A Skunk Works hatchling with perfect genes (BBGGiiJJOORRssttVV) costs $250,000. Each partial fault (i.e. Gg, Tt) reduces the price by $2,500. Each full fault (i.e. bb) reduces the price by $5,000.

Our motto: Quick, quiet, and quality.

UPDATES
2.1.2012: Blackbird becomes the first dinosaur in Exhibited history to surpass 10,000 in each stat.

1.18.2012: Blackbird hits level 100!

9.25.2011: Skunk Works has bred its first perfect Deinonychus -- Blackbird. Named for the record-setting Cold War spy plane, her quest to be queen of Exhibited begins now.

5.2.2011: Another goal accomplished: 500 Sandwiches of DOOM await one lucky dinosaur!

3.19.2011: Introducing Skunk Works' first two custom dinosaurs: Pratt & Whitney. With this pair of Deinonychus, Skunk Works lays the foundation for a breeding project that has been in the planning stages since September 1, 2010. My long-term goal is to raise the Deinonychus to become the most treasured and coveted of Exhibited's "standard" dinosaur species.
