Jump to dinosaurs?

Upon stumbling across a mysterious island, you spot a tall grand gate in which these words are scrawled, "Welcome to the place where the land meets the sea, a gorgeous outcropping amidst swirling waters, where beautiful creatures roam." You look around, still quite winded from your abrupt arrival, and see that a tall fence runs a perimeter along the large island. Inside the fence, you see paths winding their way in different directions; toward a tall, dark forest, across rolling hills, into a thick mist in which there appeared to be a castle but could have easily been a trick by your eyes. While scanning the vast landscape, you see something move in the corner of your vision. You look to see what it is, and are surprised to see an animal that much resembles bird, but much larger, and much leaner. You are not sure if you're just seeing things, but the creatures look to be dinosaurs.
