A wide, windy river cuts a deep valley through the mountains and hills of the ranch. Big slabs of rock jut from the surface at the southern fork creating a series of intense rapids, while the northernmost half of the river winds slowly and peacefully over smooth river rocks. For the most part the river is clear, cool and tranquil year-round.
