| Mimi, the daughter of Zombie and granddaughter of Kepo, stands with her father in his final hours. Her father is the current heir to Kepo Fenrir and he calls forth a meeting to make an important family decision. All living Fenrirs, which are most of them with the exception of Kepo and Mindaro, discuss what kind of legacy do they want to leave behind. Zombie felt that the last name, Fenrir, no longer honor the kind of future, goals, or character that his father sought to be. They were bold, courageous, and compassionate fighters. That was also the kind of dino Kepo was. Zombie wanted to honor his father by defining his line with a last name, but now, he wants a name that reflects their family beyond sounding cool. Valor was the name chosen and all living Fenrirs changed their last name to Valor. Before Zombie went to his deathbed, there was one more announcement. With him soon being gone, there would be no one could be the family head. He, at first, asks if Mimi or even his granddaughter, Kiki (who was 7 days at this time), would be willing to become the heir, but Mimi was honored, but didn't feel quite ready for such a task and Kiki was too young. But Zombie insists that he feels Kiki is the one and her daughter appears happy to take up this position. But Mimi isn't sure. She does want her daughter to have a life and being an heir is a lot of responsibility especially for one so young. But eventually, to honor her father's wishes, Mimi agrees, but with a condition. Kiki can't become the heir until she is trained up. This means that someone else must become the temporary heir and mentor Kiki to take up the role, which she personally won't be comfortable with until her daughter reaches 30 days old. Zombie agrees and with her help, Salamander, one of the final three kids that Kepo had, steps up to the plate. Mimi feels at peace, but the reality that her father is about to pass hits hard and she spends the rest of her day interacting with her father and making sure Kiki gets plenty of time to interact with him too. All of this happened on 12/18/24. Mimi was 77 days old. |
