"Hello there." Ryshan-Sijan leaned on the fence and peered upwards. "Feeling better today?"

At the sound of her voice, the grey and blue Allosaurus bull turned to look at her, and she smiled when he gave a little grumbling huff and moved towards her, leaning down to nudge her shoulder with his snout. She reached her arms around his muzzle and scritched lightly along the curve of his jaw. He gave a rumble like a purr and sagged slightly on his feet.

"That feels good, eh?" The little redhead smiled, a little bittersweet. She'd grown up around this old bull. He and her father had been as close as any man and his partner. Dollonu'd been scent dog and mount to her father, and he'd adopted his protectiveness towards his daughter. As a toddler, he'd looked over her as attentively as any guard dog, and it hurt a little to see him this old and creaky. Still.

She felt a little guilty about the egg growing in the incubator, its occupant a clone of the bull in front of her.

"I...I know you probably can't understand me, Dol, but...I had the Lab start up the cloning vats. They made a little Dollonu. I know...I know he won't be you, but..." She leaned heavily against his muzzle, and he snuffled at her shirt. He gave a curious little noise and nudged her again, and she smiled at him. He closed his red eyes and sat back on his haunches, reaching one clawed paw out to sort of brush over her shoulder. Sij teared up.

"...Maybe you do understand."
