History: As a chick, the t-rex wandered away from his parents and got himself horribly lost. When he tried to go back to them, he only wandered farther and farther away, night falling soon afterwards followed by a thunderstorm. Scared and tired, the young t-rex, unknowingly scampering into an enclosure, curled up underneath some foliage and fell dead asleep.
When he awoke, he came face to face with a golden sinosauropteryx, covered in pale blue, lightning bolt-like stripes. At first, the chick, despite being about as large as her, was terrified of her. She didn't like the chick any more than he liked her but grew attached to him, despite their differing species and her cold exterior. She cares for him like a son and showed him about her enclosure, as well as showing him whom they belonged to. At first, the sinosauropteryx was worried that the human wouldn't want a young king of the dinosaurs but was proved wrong. When her caretaker showed up, she was ecstatic!
From that day forward, the human named the t-rex Cooper and adores him like the treasure he is. He and Melissa hang out by the fence of their separated enclosures.
