Aspire smiled and swam over. Aspire and no, I have not yet given anyone my song whistle yet. You? He retreived his clam and bust it open and sliced some shark flesh and dipped it within the gooey flesh of the clam and ate it. Want some?. He moved his tail from side-to-side, keeping him still in the water as he too looked up at the ship above as it rocked upon the troublesome waves and winds and watched the sailors straggling to the surface and scrambling up ropes and buoy's the crew members had thrown out to get them.
Sage lied. No I have not yet. And once again, no..im fine with what i have here. Sage lifted more flesh and tossed it in her mouth. The tail meat was always the best to her. The tails were strong but at least the flesh wasn't very soft and soggy. She always hated that kind. Instead she liked the warmer which was at the sides and not the middle. Then Sage ripped out the heart and threw it in the sand. Red blood traveled to the surface. Most pirates by now would think that the blood was from those other sailors that had drown.
He nodded and went for the neck and top of the stomach slashing violently at the oxygen rich flesh that easily fell from the shark and was snapped up quick, but by this time the blood and the movement from the shark had attracted some un-invited visitors, Black-Tip Reef sharks, several of them, rooting around the rocks, snapping at a fish everynow and then, this made Aspire cringe and turn to see the creatures, still quite a distance away, he knew they would still pose as a threat if gotten closer, which would not allow. Swallowing more of the shark he began to move to the top of it and tore through it's spine pulling chunks out into the water as he dug his face into the sharks back.

Esmerelda bobbed in the waves, unconsious. She did not hear all the things that were going on aboard the ship.

They were screaming and flailing to find the captain. Carlos, who was hanging on to the railing of the ship, spotted her. "Well, this is for the way you treated me." He said coldly to himself. He angrily threw a knife he found on the deck into the water, making a small splash in the large waves.

Esmerelda floated until she caught soome water in her mouth. She then sank into the blue ocean. Falling right above where two merpeople were eating the flesh of a dead shark.

Sage looked at the sharks swimming above near the sharp tipped rocks. They were snapping thier jaws and making a large sound to detect any prey. Sage took the spine from the shark and a piece of seaweed. She tied the two ends of seaweed to the spine and grabbed a sharp stick like spear. She used it as an arrow. She handed another one to Aspire she made quickly out of another bone and seaweed, she then handed him the spear-like stick. She then held onto hers and let it fly into a shark. It fell and Sage grabbed another spear like weapon that she had grabbed from the pile of them she had gotten for the meal, to grab the meat with the stick. She then hit another shark, but the spear was dull so it only left a mark and did not kill the shark, but very much harmed him or her.

Aspire flexed his fingers and lined his shot and sprung his arm forward and threw the spear-like object which penertrated one shark through it's soft side and hit another head-on in the snout. He then tossed several clam shells at another which got stuck in the sharks tough skin, one getting close took a shot at Aspire but he dodged the attack hit the shark on it's snout shocking it as it turned and swam away.

Aspire then swam over to the shark him and Sage had been eating and ripped out several teeth which he placed between his fingers as if he were pretending to be Wolverine and continued to smash the incoming sharks' snouts.

Sage laughed a bit. She then got a hold of herself and put more spears in the arrow. This time she put 3 arrows in and aimed. One arrow hit a shark, another hit another one and the final one missed by a long shot. She then looked behind her and more sharks had gathered around them. She managed to take Aspires arm and gram the clam the other mermaid had given her. Make a swim for it! Sage was still holding Aspires arm and swam quickly through a school of fish, biting them and chewing them when they passed. She continued upward until she found a window she could get through. It was open but she would close it so the boat would not sink. She leaped in and intantly dryed off. She then waved her hand signalling to Aspire to come in, and that it was safe. Sage grabbed a towel and dryed her body. She also dryed her hair. She took some pirate clothes and put them on. Now that she had legs. She put on a hat and waited for Aspire. Ahoy, Captain. She said laughing instantly at her small time joke.
He smiled and swam through the window and closed it behind him and stood up now that his legs had grown and dried off, also grabbing some pirates clothes and placed them on. Ahoy. He then spat out a couple of bones and scales from the school of fish they had swam through and looked through the window and at the sharks and hissed slightly, his fangs revealing themselves and then returned back into their position and returned his attention back to Sage and the door which lay infront of them and walked over to it, an ounce wobbly on his new sea legs and looked through the key hole.

Liberty had watched all of this from the safety of the skies. He had swooped down several times for an attack, but the humans were too fast, and the battles were usually over before he could actually do anything....

He squawked with rage when Esmerelda dissapeared into the ocean. She was his favorite person, after all....Liberty flew to the shoulder of a random sailor and sat there angerly. "Well aren't you a cute- AHHHHH!" the sailor screamed as Liberty took a generously large peice of flesh from his face.

Liberty then flew off in the direction of a distant grey dot on the ocean, coming from the west...

Esmerelda became conscious again, but realized she was under water. Her lungs were screaming for air. She tried to up to get some air, but was too weak already. In the murky water, she could see the gradual slope of the sea floor. That meant that there was an island near by. She tried again to swim up, but couldn't. She wasn't that far away from the top of the water, but a large wave came up and pushed her farther up. She tried again, and this time made it. She gasped for air, and coughed. She struggled to stay up, but managed to stay long enough so that she could get a good look on how far away the island was. But, she swallowed more water, and began to sink again. Her heart was pounding, and screaming. She got back up to the surface, and began to do what she could only do. "Help! Help me! Please!" She screamed at the top of her lungs. She tore off her coat, hat, and boots to make herself lighter. She floated a little better after that, but she continued to scream, until someone heard her, or until she drown.

Poor, tamber, desperatly, she was trying to stay dry, she couldn't risk anyone seeing that they had had a mermaid aboard there ship for 15 years! Then she saw it, Esmerelda screaming near her window. Tamber had no choice, she jumped into the water, turnning into the mermaid form she hated. Quickly, she dived down to catch esmereldas sinking body. She grabbed onto her arm and swam up, throwing esmerelda trough her open window, then went in. Luckly, Esmerelda had not come to, so tamber's secret was still safe. Tamber placed her ear over esmereldas heart. The beat was slow, and sounded like it was beating through molasis. Quickly, she began to sing the mermaid song of healing.

"In all the oceans coloured blue, no one as special as you, only to die so young, wouldn't be fair. So all the oceans in the world, please help me heal you."

Esmerelda gasped a big breath of air, and coughed up some water. She studied herself, then the room. She had lost her coat, hat, and boots, but the map was safely tucked in her belt. She was in Tamber's room, and saw Tamber kneeling above her. "What happened?" She was confused, and tired. She struggled to stand, but did. She used one of Tamber's coats to dry off, and she went out to the main deck, and saw the men all looking over the railing of the ship, to see if the could spot their lost captain.

Carlos walked out of the captain's cabin. He was looking through Esmerelda's things, to see if he could find a map to get out of here. When he saw Esmerelda, he froze, and hid behind some men. The men pushed him out from behind them, and Esmerelda saw him. She glared at him. He glared at her. She marched into her cabin, and saw her things all out of order. She knew Carlos had done it. She got some other boots, and another coat. She dried her wet hair, and took out her map. She marked where the location of her ship was, and estimated how far the silver chalices were. She could get the mermaid's tear from Carlos' friend. Her ship was about another day away from Tortuga, and they could stop there and ask a few questions.

Carlos stood leaned on the railing of the vessel. It was nightfall, and the sky had turned from a light blue, to a dark purple. Stars lit up the night sky as they sailed gracefully across the blue waves. The whole ship was asleep, except for him. He looked out to the darkened sea. He saw a strange dot in the distance. It came closer, and closer every second. He stared at it until he could tell it was another ship. It came very close, and he could see people moving around and yelling. He looked closer and saw they were loading the cannons! Before he knew it, a cannon came directly toward him. He jumped just before it hit the place where he was standing.

Esmerelda awoke from a deep sleep. She heard yelling, and loud crashes coming from outside. "What in the world is going on now!?!" she said to herself. She got up, strapped her sword and pistols on her waist, and went out to the main deck. The other ship was attacking her ship. She stood there dazed, the other ship was even larger than hers. Before long, the men from the other ship began boarding. Esmerelda almost fainted because, they were undead! Their bones were showing, and their clothes were rotted, but not completely. She screamed as one came up behind her. She pulled out her sword and sliced off the bone-hand of the creature. It moved by itself, and Esmerelda gagged. Two other undead pirates came up behind her and fought with her. Their sword clanged, and their voices yelled. She swung her sword, and heard the moan of the sailor, and saw him fall to the ground, clutching his stomach. The other tried to get at Esmerelda's feet, but the jumped, and knocked him down with a strike to the head. More came aboard the ship, and a larger man with a black hat on.

Tamber wouldn't get beat by the undead, and she figured if they were anything like zombies, she would have to do head damage! Tamber yell "Go for the head!" And ran up to one and stabbed it in the head, then, pulled out her pistle, shot it in the head, pushed it over board, where it go devoired by sharks and merpeople. "Yum" tamber thought sarcasticly. I wonder what I should do now! Well, she fought more, before it happend, an undead came up behind her and put a knife up to her neck, the battle stopped as everyone staired at Tamber being held against her will.

"We need the boy, or this girl dies!"

Sage opened the door and drew out her sword as if to fight the sailors. But instead she found herself neck and neck fighting against zombies instead. She looked astonished but absolutely delighted. She ran over behind a bar counter and waited for the right moment to slice a few heads off. She licked her lips, but remembered that if she attempted to eat this zombies skull...it would look as if she was in a crime of cannabalism. She stopped when she heard a deep voice rumble and followed everyones heads to the man holding the mermaid girl in his grip and placing a knife in front of her throat. Sage felt the urge to do something, and so she flund her sword toward the man but had aimed more at the wood behind him. It hit the wood perfectly. And she walked up to grab it. She placed it near the mans throat this time. Surrender.
