Moon carefully seperated a few thistles from colorful zinnias, she wrapped the roots of the thistles in plastic; to keep alive for replanting. Although many didn't like thistles she always had a few around to attract the birds that eat them. She laid the plants in the shade near her large greenhouse.

She heard whispering and then giggles, she sighed, she knew exactly what that meant. Turning she saw three kids running over her flowers smashing them under their feet, "Not again."

"Hey!" She yelled at the kids, "Why are running on there flowers! There is clearly a path right next to you!" She shooed them away from her garden and looked at the destruction sadley.

She looked up hearing hoof beats and held her breath. A beautifully black horse was galloping toward her and her rider expertly steering it. She watched the rider closely still holding her breath.

Fenra galloped her horse into center square. The wolf-lord was running at a formidable speed in the wide street when three kids walked dangerously out into the path in front of her. Fenra's eyes widened at the sight, knowing she was unable to whoa the black horse quick enough.

"Kids get out of the way!" Fenra shouted, the group of children to busy in their own minds to notice her. When they finally heard the fast beating of hooves, they looked towards the black horse and stared in horror like a deer in headlights. Fenra quickly yanked on the right rein, turning the mare off in a different path out of the way of the children. She finally slowed Des and came back around to where the kids where standing, still in shock. Fenra dismounted and went over the the trembling children. There were two girls and a little boy, no more than 7 years old.

The wolf-lord noticed a woman with pale hair watching her the entire time.

Fenra crouched to be eye level with the little kids then spoke to them calmy yet sternly, her motherly aura coming to life. "Hello you three. I see you're having fun, yes?" The kids nodded. "Im glad you're having fun, but you need to always be aware of your surroundings. You never know when you'll need to be able to defend yourself." A small girl with dirty blonde hair hugged Fenra and the wolf-lord was surprised at first then welcomed the child's hug. "Do you all understand?" Fenra asked them and the group nodded their heads. "Then run along." The dark haired woman patted each on the head and the three little kids ran off, laughing and playing already. It was then Fenra noticed the young woman with the pale hair.

Walking up to her, Fenra found the girl to be very attractive. She had long silver hair with grass stains on her pants and subtle spots in her skin. 'A snow leopard...interesting...' Thought the wolf-lord. Fenra then stood before the young girl and bowed before her, taking her hand as she did so.

"I am Fenra the Galiant, Horse Master of Awmsk." Said Fenra, rising up slowly. "And who might you be?" Fenra asked, cocking and eyebrow while looking down at the girl and giving her a very sexy grin.

Oh how sad, too bad for Roxanne she didn't care about her problems at all. It wasn't her issue to deal with to begin with, unless the wolves decided to bother her for growling at one of them. In that case she'd find her own ways to terrorize them. Maybe request more wolf pelts until she found one that had the same color fur as them. Then make it into a hat or scarf to horrify the pair of them.

Yes that sounded like a good idea. She was up for horrifying wolf weres any day, and preventing the pair from bothering her. Mavelle shifted back to her human looking form, crocodile claws were too clumsy for working with the fur. Or most everything really. After looking through the pelts she found a color that matched the wolf that had growled at her. This would show him!

She started the work of stitching the head of the pelt to make it into a hat. She found fake eyes that matched the wolf that had trampled over her's eyes. Every once and a while she would accidentally prick herself with the needle, which she'd hardly notice due to her thicker skin.

Moon couldn't help but laugh when the kids almost where run over by the horse seeing the fear they had, *Serves them right.* She saw the woman softly console the children or scold them Moon couldn't tell which.

She quickly glanced down looking at some snapdragons slowly recovering from the trampling. Moon looked up to a child hugging the woman, *So she must have consoled them.* She was suprised when the lady was coming to her; the lady, thankfully, used the path. She announced who she was taking Moon's hand and smiling.

Moon laughed saying, " I am Moon the Gardner of Plants and Destroyer of Weeds, so I think I have you beat."

Fenra chuckled, finding the girl's humor genuinely funny. "I am sorry mighty destroyer of weeds, I do apologize your grace." Fenra laughed as she curtseyed. Moon was still laughing at her goofiness when Fenra rose again. She heard chewing and turned around in horror as Dessie was happily chewing on Moon's prized plants.

"Dessie! No!" Fenra shouted, the mare shooting her head up at the angry tone of Fenra's voice. The wolf-lord rushed over and grabbed the horse's reins so she couldn't eat anything anymore. "I do apologize...she ate some of your turnips...here. This should be enough to compensate for the lost plants.." Fenra handed over to Moon 6 gold pieces.

Fenra secretly wished Moon would ask her about Dessie.

Roxanne finished adding wood to her forge and wiped her brow. She noticed Samson had given her the ruined boards from the hall in question... She did always reccomend the man when someone came to her with a carpentry issue. She had also fixed his hammers and sharpened his chisels on occasion... Roxanne had a habit of going to the same tradespeople for the things she needed. She also recommended those same people when someone came to her with things that those tradespeople could provide... Roxanne got a new order for something... A dagger with a fur trim on the leather grip... She had gone to Mavile and gotten some rabbit pelts during the winter... So Roxanne started forging the blade. Nothing out of the ordinary...

Moon never really minded when animals came and ate from her garden, she was just always carfull they didn't eat anything poisonus. Moon shook her head at the offer, "It is no harm done, seriously turnips are very easy and fast to grow. If you wouldn't mind I have a Deciduous Shrub she could munch on."

Moon paused for a second and looked at the hind quarter of the horse. "It is a she right?" Moon tried looking one more time, but soon gave up throwing her hands in the air. "Come on horsy I will show you the shrub, just don't get too offended." She told Fenra, "I honestly don't mind animals coming and eating some plants it helps the whole ecosystem survive." She stopped at a fairly large shrub. "You better tell me everything about this horse before I offend it." The horse snorted and it sounded a lot like 'Too Late'.

Ashpen finally made it to the town where he was suppossed to be delivering supplies and messages to. He looked at the letters and soon gave them to the people they were written to. As pen looked at the next package, *Ok not hard to find.* He trotted to the forge seeing a woman working. *Well, she is a fox no doubt about that*

He announced himself "Hello, I am sorry to bother you. I am Ashpen are you," He looked at the package. "a Miss Roxanne and if not can you tell me where she is at the moment I have a package for her."

Roxanne had been honing the blade and looked up. "I am Roxanne I wasn't expecting anything..." Roxanne took the package and read a mystery name on the box... She opened it and exposed gemstones... She examined them and said "I don't know who would send these..." She gave the messenger his pay and started examining the large gemstones... She knew she was going to set them in the pommel of a sword to give her master across the street... She was going to make a blended sword between a katana and a western blade... She was still a little leery of the box and made absolutely sure there was no funny business about the box or any of it's contents...

Fenra saw Moon looking towards Des's hind quarters in attempt to identify her as a female. She chuckled a little as the snow leopard threw her hands up in frustration and then lit up when Moon asked her to tell her about the horse.

"This is Des, or Dessie, as I call her. She is in fact a 12 year old, solid back Imperial Warmblood mare. Her sire was Buccefalus, a very famous warhorse and her dam was De Amour, the three time World Equestrian Cup champion. I've had her since she was bred, as her mother was one of the horses my father had trained. My father is Vlad Lykananon, Horse Master of the Great King Thule in Dumbrock. I helped trained Dessie ever since she was a filly. She a certified sport horse and she is capable of war service except she once stepped in a gofer hole and twisted her ankle so they expelled her from battle. I've known her ever since I was 13 and she's my best buddy." Fenra concluded as the black mare stuck her giant nose down into the apron full of plants Moon had on.

Fenra wondered if Moon might come back to the stables with her...

"So Moon..." Fenra started. "...would you perhaps come back to the Village Stables with me? My cottage is connected to it on the corner. Id love to hear about you over a cup of tea." Fenra asked, somewhat shyly as she was unsure of how Moon would respond. The wolf-lord liked this one.

As the wolverine-lord shifted the small hairs on his body became long and dense, his hands being replaced by the hand like paws of most mustelids. With a couple cracks of his spine to curve outwards he jumped out of his clothes as, what basically looked like, a dark furred, muscular, giant weasel. Using his nimble claws he threw his belt around his waist, his small blade attached.
Revolt moved to walk on four limbs, prefering it from bipedal because of the shape of his spine. Trotting along side Morgan he stopped his tracks, head darting quickly to the right. Standing he grabbed at the tiger-lords wrist.
"Did you see that?" He questioned the chief in a quick hushed whisper.

Morgan nodded as he felt Revolt grab his wrist and he knew the wolverine-lord had seen something. A soft yet gutteral growl emitted itself from Morgan's throat, like that you would here from a lion carefully stalking his prey. With lightning speed, a flash of black appeared in the corner of his eye. Morgan spun around quickly and Revolt followed suit, the clearing behind them crystal clear.

"It's here..." Morgan grumbled in a low voice. "REVOLT MOVE!" The tiger-lord shouted as he watched a black, transparent hand reach out for the young were-lord's arm. Morgan pushed Revolt quickly out of the way and his blade swept down across the Walking Shadow's arm, severing it's from the body and the black dust evaporated in the air. The shadow had disappeared again.

Moon thought out loud for a moment, "Well, I am sure I could. I just have to shut all the greenhouse windows I like shutting all of them just in case someone needs to escape from the Kaichu." She paused "...I believe that's it. You wouldn't mind helping, would you? It's easy to shut them, but there are quite a few of them."

Moon led Ferna into the greenhouse showing her how to close the windows airtight. After five minutes all of the windows were closed; the warm greenhouse was making Moon sweat. "Let's get out of this steam room I don't know how much more I can take!" With that Moon bursted, with little grace, through the door enjoying the breeze.

Fenra felt a joyous pang when Moon said she would return back to her house with her. Closing all the windows, Fenra also noticed how hot it was in the building.

"Yes let's go." Said the wolf-lord when they finally got outside. Fenra's cottage was all the way across town and she had an interesting idea on how to get there quickly. "Moon, my house and the stables are all the way over there, all the way across town. We could walk, but would you rather ride Des double rider? She's a very good girl and wouldn't mind." Fenra proposed waiting for Moon's response.

Dessie huffed at the idea of doing more work than nesscary, then the black mare went back to eating some turnips Moon had put in a basket for her.

Roxy started working on the sword. She wasn't watching the deer were. She'd paid him and examined the package checking everything over. There weren't any kaichu bugs or any sort of threatening things inside the box so she could just get to work. She made a series of pronged settings on the hilt in gold that she had on hand in case a customer wanted gold in the hilt of their sword. Not an uncommon request really and she was folding the steel. She didn't notice the well dressed customer come in and say "I see you recieved your shipment. I want you to do exactly what you are doing my dear and make me a sword with them."

Roxanne took stock a black were fox a man about her age impeccably dressed and he introduced himself as Arthur of the House of Vulpis. Roxanne almost dropped her hammer. A noble wanted her to make a sword? She looked up and said "These are the jewels of Vulpis aren't they?" "Yes. You will be paid handsomely for this." "I thought for a minute they were from some sort of secret admirer..." "No but I can see why you might think that. I'd imagine such a lovely vixen such as yourself must have suitors..." "No not really... I am too busy working to attract much attention my lord." "A hard worker and a lovely woman." That got a slight chuckle "I wish we had more of those in the capital..." Roxanne spent hours laboring over the sword and when she was done she polished it to a shine and started making the scabbord. The man watched her attention to detail and she finished it before presenting the blade with a bow. "Fine work my dear. Your pay..." Roxanne was given a pouch heavy with coins and her visitor departed. If not for the fact she had sweated during that entire work she might have thought it a dream...

At Earth's End: Shifters
Setting

You live in the Tribe of Awmsk. The tribal land has many forests and mountains ranges, being a mix of both Russian and North Amercian terrain. It snows 4 out of the 12 months a year but is typically a sunny place. The Kaichu den here lies on BreakBack Mountain, north of the tribal village.

The tribal village is very large, as the Tribe of Awmsk is the most powerful one in the entirety of Earth's End. Your tribe is best known for its cunning warriors and state of the art weaponry. Awmsk is also the tribe responsible for choosing the King's gaurd and army every year.

As for the village, there is a large fence that stands 20 feet high and circles the perimeter of the village. In the center is the Lord's hut and connected to that is the main watch tower. Surrounding it is a multitude of villages, shops, and blacksmiths. There is two exits and entries of the village, one at the front gate and one to the rear.

Plot

In the land of Earth's End, strange, if not magical, creatures reside. Sometimes, they look just like you and I but sometimes, they take the form of a beast. Earth's End is ruled by were-lords, people who can turn into were-animals at will. Each region contains a tribe of its own with were-animals that dominate is terrain.

There are several Tribes at Earth's End, creating a network of supplies leading to The Great Fortress, Earth's End's mightiest castle and supreme ruler. This is where the great Thule lives as King and ruler of Earth's End. Thule is a mighty Rhino-Lord.

You shall live in the Tribe of Awmsk.

However magical it may seem, Earth's End is plagued by an unruly evil. Each night, between 12:00 and 3:00 am, mysterious insects called Kaichu, thumb sized bugs that look like grasshoppers, crawl out of their caves soley to plague the land. If bitten by a Kaichu, the wound will boil and swell with the toxins, then its venom will release into the body while turning the victim to ash within 2 minutes. Tha ash left behind by the victim will the create a Walking Shadow, a monster unseen or unheard, a warrior of the dead. The Kaichu were not always there, but were put there by a person of unknown identity. The only way you escape the Kaichu is by staying indoors at night, locking and sealing all doors and windows.

Recently, the number of Kaichu killings has sky rocketed, leading Earth End's people to suspect whoever put the Kaichu bug in the land has returned. You must do whatever it takes to stop this plague.

History

For thousands of years, were-lords have ruled Earth's End. The land has seen many great Kings and many bad ones. The were-lords use their ability for battle, hunting, working, and to better extend their abilities. The people of this land worship the God, Lycaeon, father of the shifters.

Some people in Earth's End do not have the ability to shift into a were. This is uncommon however. The were gene is hereditary and is usually passed down to the male offspring from the father's side and to the females the mother's side. For example, if the mother is a horse-lord and the father is a wolf-lord, their male offspring will almost definetly be werewolves and the female offspring with almost certainly be horse-lords.

Also, the human will take some attributes as the were they shift into. For example, a tiger-lord would have subtly orange skin or a bear-lord would be considerably hairy. A gator-lord may have tuff, possibly hard skin, and a snow leopard-lord would have subtle spots on their skin.

This land is of magic. Use it well.

Rules

-When creating a character, state their were-animal and describe it as well.

-When creating a character, be sure to make them within the plot, meaning make sure they are relevant to the village and will have some sort of place there.

-Be nice and respectable to other players.

-No killing off other people's character without their permission.

-Life isn't all magic and butterflies, you live in a cruel world; therefore, you will suffer at times.

-No fantasy animals. Of any kind. I believe that the pure fact people are turning into were-beasts is fantasy enough. There is magic however.

-Mild cussing is allowed (hell, damn)

-Beware between 12:00 and 3:00 am! The Kaichu WILL get you!
