Lokri smiled but dindt reply. She ate her share of the fish then layed back and looked at the stars. She stared at them. However, a cool breeze of air chilled her and her still damp cloths so she sat back up in attemped to warm back up by the fire. She watched it not knowing what to talk about to break the silence. She closed her eyes in though then opened them again. She was starting to feel exhusted from todays events. However she was happy. They were alive and well...they just had to see about the futer of it.
Smoke looked back at her and layed back with a smile, once again folding his arms back behind his head, and setting the leaf with still a bit of fish on it, on top of his chest.  Looking up at the stars, and slowly chewing the fish, taking slow bites, he wanted to make it last for as long as he could, it really was good.  He sighed and closed his eyes for what seemed like a good two minutes before he opened them once again.  A soft but cold breeze blew across him and he turned his head looking out at the water, the stars sparking across its surface.
Lokri blinked and pulled her knees to her chest. She wrapped her arms around her legs and looked at the sky. She spotted a shooting star and she smiled. She then lowered her head and stared at the reflection of the stars and the moon on the water. She sighed and put her chin on her knees and huddled there. She would do anything to go back home to lay in her bed with some warmth. However the night was so beautiful she was happy she was here as well, even given the circumstance. She blinked and looked back at the fire. It was growing smaller. She put some more woof on it which made it grow almost Instantly.
Smoke felt the newly aquired warmth from the fire grow on him and he smiled to himself before he emitted a small yawn and closed his eyes one more time, this time for quite a while, although he was not asleep, no where near it actually, he was awake and listening to the sounds around him, when there was a sudden chirping that started to ring out in the night, then was joined by a few more.  The crickets were singing loudly, and dispite the slight annoyance it was caused for Smoke, he found it soothing in some sort of way.
Lokri listened to the chirping of the crickets and whistaled back to them. They started another small little song and she smiled listening to it. She leayed back down and stared at the dark sky. The stars shown clear the moon lit the surondings. She was quiet at peace. She didnt know what could go wrong at the momment. She closed her eyes but found it in possiable to sleep. She opened her eyes again. She knew she needed the sleep but for some reson she just couldnt. She turnd her head and looked over at Smoke then back to the lake and watched the water move when a small gust of wind rolled across it and fall still again.
Smoke listend as Lokri whistled back to the chirping crickets and when he answered she smiled slightly before the emotion dripped out of his face again.  Turning over, he flipped onto his side, still gaining the warmth from the fire, but was faced the other direction, more of towards Lokri than the water to warm the other side of his body.  His eyes opened again and he stared directly into the burning flames of the fire, as they skipped across the logs that were trapped inside it.  To him, the flames almost seemed to be creating pictures inside of them.
Lokri curled up almost and watched the water then closered her eyes again. She couldnt say if she was asleep or not. It felt like it but she was still aware somewhat over her surondings. If she was asleep she geussed it was about 20 minutes or so because she opened her eyes again and the sky was still very dark. She let out a silent sigh and looked over at Smoke wondering how he was doing or if he managed to get any sleep at all....or if he was asleep. She rolled over to her side and moved her finger through the soft sand. She drew a picture of a bird flying through the night sky almost looking like it was going towards the moon.

Smoke blinked once and looked over at Lokri once he figured she had fallen asleep, his blue eyes seemed to glow orange from the fire reflecting in them.  He was still looking at her when she woke up but immediatly had turned away when she did.  His expression was some what solemn, he was exhausted sure, but was not about to fall asleep now and let his guard down, dispite how they have been provided for so far, he still did not trust this island.  Standing up, he quietly walked away from the fire and farther down moving towards the water, and he just stood there with his arms crossed over his chest looking at it.

Lokri even though she did not notice him leave she felt a sudden weirdness of being alone. She lifted her head and saw that the spot that Smoke had been was now empty. She trailed her golden gaze over towards the water and saw him standing there. She was tempted to go and see if he was ok, but he would proably make up some lie or he just wanted to be left alone. She also geussed they were both haveing issues sleeping. She sat up an dlooked towards the fire again. Again it was dieing and again she feed the wood to it for it to grow back into a steady source of light and warmth.

Smoke looked back at Lokri again before he returned his gaze to the water but it was quickly disrupted by the sound of breaking twigs.  Smoke looked out from the corner of his eye in one direction, then another but nothing seemed to be there, so he desided to push the thought aside, although he knew that it was not from Likri, dispite the face nothing seemed to show itself, there was no way that he was going to be falling asleep now, there was obviously something out here, besides them, and from the way it sounded, something that wasn't birds and crickets.
Lokri heared the noise as well and lifted her head and turning to findd the source of it. Not knowing exatly were it was made her uneasy and not knowing what it was. She picked up the fishing spear and looked at it woundering if it would come in hand in more ways then one. She sat it down beside her again. And Staied close to the fire and watching out for anything. This place was a nice haven at first glance, but now it just seemed to be a death trap with something waiting to pounce for the kill. She shook the dark thoughs from her mind and poked the logs on the fire with another stick sending up a burst of sparks.
Smoke stood by the water, looking into the pond infront of him, he did not know if it was just him or if he actually heard it, but there was another rustling coming from in the jungle behind him, he looked around again, his eyes scanning the terain very carefully before he dismissed it, but was not exactily settled so he went and looked around one more time before walking at a steady pace back towards the fire and Lokri, his face dead serious, he looked at her once before walking past into the dark black forest, and has been gone for quite a while.
Lokri watched him go into the jungle and blinked. She turned back to the fire but stayed focus on everything around her. She watched the Flames lick at the Darkness, as sparks showered into the air then disapeared. The feeling of being totaly alone washed over her. It was somewhat settleing yet disturbing to be alone. Her golden gazes glanced to both sides of her. Usualy her being alone was quiet peacefull this was....just weird. She felt like she was being watched everytime she turned her back to the jungle but ever time she looked...nothing. She sighed and wondered if Smoke was alright.
Smoke was marking his path so he would not get lost and would be able to find his way back to the camp.  He heard another rustling, but it was closer, and much louder.  He spun around and squinted trying to make out what was causing the noise, but in the dark it was useless.  So slowly, he turned to go back the direction he was headed, but his heart rate was going up, and it was rising fast.  He was about to start walking again when he heard a growl, then a snarl as he was tackled by what he figured was a panther.  Letting out a yell, he struggled to get it off, and momentarily did, but he knew what was coming as soon as he felt an ache in his back, and his heart thumping rapidly in his chest, adrenaline at an all time high.  On his hands and knees, he felt the pain of realligning bones and the helpless feeling as he made a switch between man and wolf.  The panther just stood there watching before coming to it's senses and charging at him again with another growl but was a little late, Smoke, having been fully transformed was ready for it and fought back, the two of them now being evenly matched.  The black wolf fought hard against the panther, when he was bit hard in the shoulder and let out a yelp.
Lokri's head shoot up and turned towards the yell. With out hesitaion she leaped to her feet spear in hands and running down the makshift path that Smoke must have put up. She didnt want to just come slaming out of the bushes if anything was majorly wrong or nothing wrong at all but when she saw te panther her instincts really did seem to change. She fliped the spear around in her heand and chucked it at the panther. The spear inbeaded itself into its side and it let out a painful yowl. She backed away in the shadows again not knowing if she should come out or not.
