Violets mind snapped back to the storm. "The food won't matter, we HAVE to find cover. I can feel it in my gut the there will be twisters in this storm, and trust me, you don't want to get caught in one." She began to drag the kill towards the center of the island, where dirt became rock, in search of a cave, or even better, a abandoned hole in the ground. She pulled both Trallune and the thing they had killed effortlessly through the jungle. She cam to a small cave, just big enough for her to squeeze through. "Oh crap, we forgot the little rat thing." Violet said out loud. She poked her head out of the cave, kicking the kill deeper into the cave. The winds had kicked up, and Violet wondered if their little friend was okay, wherever she was. She ducked back in and lay down to wait the storm out.
She looked around noticing her friends were gone. Fear had struck her heart as she could feel a strong storm begin to approach. The lightning had lit up the entire sky making her shiver with great worry. She had head for the thing she had lived in almost her entire life, water. She ran to a nearby river quickly swimming to the bottom. Looking around she couldn't see a single creature that had stayed in the water which panicked her. She began swimming to the top, lightning had struck the water she was in stunning her for a few moments. She made a break for the surface and took a huge gasp of air coughing. She quickly had crawled out of the water wandering the forest for shelter alone, and scared. "Hello? Is anyone there?" She had begun searching most everywhere for Trallune and Violet worryingly. She finally had given up her search and had rested outside of a small cave exhausted and scared.
Trallune, who had been sitting bored for a while now, looked outside.  Nothing looked wrong to him.  Of course, he could hear the extremely fast winds whistling, so he knew that was wrong.  He took a few greedy bites out of the kill, and lapped up the blood, since he was thirsty.  It was rather salty, and didn't help at all.  He quickly dashed out of the cave, lapped up a puddle, and sprinted back in.  On the way back, he saw something familiar huddled up next to the entrance.  "Hey Lizard!  The rat-thing is out here!  Come halp me drag it in; I don't have any remotely non-pointy ends!" As Trallune waited for the lizard to answer his yell, He stood against the dark-gray stone wall outside the cave.  There was a slight overhang, and it helped to keep him from being buffered by the wind too much.
Violet came out of the cave, her scales a dull red, not the Trallune could see that of course. She had figured that out. "This lizard has a name you know, and its Violet." She then hooked their rat friend in her claws, creating a cage like looking thing around it. Why are my two friends so small? She thought to herself. As she fallowed the Kru back into the cave she realized she had thought of them as friends. Friends, she thought. She, being a giant lizard didn't have many friends, not that her usual attitude helped any. She then walked over to the deer thing a took a enormous bite out of it, savoring the delicious flavor. Since Trallune wasn't going to eat the heart, she went ahead and ate that as well. She then laid down and began to stare out the cave, thinking. The storm continued to rage outside.
She was relieved to see Trallune and Violet again. But Keyla was still extremely exhausted. She watched as Violet held her and bring her back into the cave. Her eyes were a dark orange showing she was extremely exhausted. Keyla looked up at Violet with a grateful smile. "Thank you, I've been searching everywhere for all of you." Keyla looked very relieved now to see that she had made it to her friends safely. "It's pretty bad out there, the rivers and lakes aren't safe either." Keyla looked at a burn she had on her wrist from a lightning strike. "I was swimming in a river when a lightning bolt hit me, it's absolutely terrible out there." Keyla rested in Violets hand to tired to get up. She was able to talk still, at least she could do that. "Thank you for bringing me in." Keyla looked at the small cave she was brung into, it was warm, cozy, and dry. It felt way better then the storm outside to her.
Trallune, at the moment, was attempting to hunt down the liver and kidneys of the tortoise thing, and had his slits about half open, listening to the patter of rain outside and on top of the cave.  He found the kidneys, and right as he ate the left one a drop of rain fell on his neck.  He ate the other kidney, the were soft and warm, and was digging around for the liver when he thought of something.  "Uh, guys?" he asked slowly.  "I don't don't have eyes, so could someone please look up and tell me the ceiling isn't made of waterlogged soil?  Because I think some water just hit my neck, and a ceiling made of waterlogged soil worries me; it's not exactly the most stable of all materials." As Trallune waited for the answer from either of them, he took a greedy bit from the tortoise's liver.

Suskino got up slowly seeing that Toumas had squished the"scary and deadly" beast that had frightened her. then he started talking about her being a heroic loner but when she heard that she frowned "I'm nothing but a cowered," she said ashamed of herself "Where the heck did you hear I'm brave! that is a bunch of lies... i wish i were brave and heroic but that's just not my nature i guess."she said as she pouted like a little animal getting in trouble by their mother. Staring at the ground Suskino sighed "I don't know about you but I'm going to go find some lunch i cant even remember the last time i've had a decent meal." then she started to walk towards the river and started to wade in the shallow water looking towards the deeper water seeing if she could spot anything that looked tasty enough to eat other than slimy frogs.

Violet looked up at the ceiling. Its was dirt, dark brown and rich with nutrients. but that didn't really matter right now. It was soaked to the maximum or maybe even more, and was beginning to drip water everywhere. A dirt glob dropped down and landed right next to Violet, send a splash of water everywhere. More quickly fallowed "Uh... time to go!" She didn't think. She grabbed their rat friend into her mouth and dragged Trallune with her claws deeper into the cave, just as the cavern collapsed, blocking the entrance, and plunging them into darkness. At that exact moment she realized their rat friend, had she mentioned her name? Violet couldn't remember, was in her mouth. She spat her out. "PLEASE tell me my teeth didn't cut you or you has a scratch before I grabbed you." Violet knew no cure for the bacteria in her mouth, and she knew even the slightest amount that entered your blood stream could easily kill you in 48 hours at the max.
Keyla shook her head. "Nope, at least I don't think so. I feel fine." Keyla began looking at herself. She didn't feel any scratches, but she wanted to be safe. She checked ever last of her webbed paws, she also checked her shark like fin just to be sure. She sighed and looked back at Violet. "I don't think so." Keyla sighed petting her skinny furry tail. On it she noticed a small scratch. "Um, I have this scratch on my tail, but that's not too bad... right?" Keyla didn't see why Violet was so worried about her getting a scratch. "I feel fine. Really." Keyla began rubbing her own tail. She was looking at the scratch. It was small, but it was a scratch. She sighed beginning to scratch behind her floppy ears. She saw Violet looked even more worried when she said she had a scratch. "Violet? Why do you look so worried? It's just a small scratch."
Violet just about wanted to puke all her internals out. "This is bad, very, very bad." She began trying to get out of the cave. "Its my saliva, it is filled with bacteria harmless to me and my kind, but extremely deadly to other creatures. It can kill something your size in a bare maximum of forty-eight hours. I know of no cure, no antidote, no anything that can fight it. And it only takes the smallest cut to get into the bloodstream." She forced their rat friend to lay down. "Do not move, get excited, your make your heart beat any faster than it needs to. Stay calm. The faster your heart beats, the faster you die." She turned back to the wall of dirt and began to try and dig with any body part she could. Violet had to get out and find a cure, and these closed in walls made her feel even more nervous.
Keyla gulped hearing what Violet said. Her eyes became green with fear. "O-OK... I'll just sit here then..." Keyla felt afraid of death. She stayed where she was trying to stay calm. She looked around her, it was dark, difficult to see. The walls were closed in and she couldn't see any light. She layed in the corner thinking about the storm outside. She remembered she was electrocuted when she went in the water. She didn't want to go back into the storm, but she didn't want to stay here either. The walls closed in tightly and it made her nervous. "I don't want to die. I'll sit here like a good Grenguff would." Keyla shook her floppy ears still wet from outside where she had gotten drenched. She layed down again resting her head on her own skinny and fluffy tail. She almost whimpered imagining what had happened to her lately. "Why am I always getting into trouble? Well at least I don't hide in the water all day like the other Grenguffs do." Keyla sighed, it was cold in the cave, but her shark like fin helped her maintain heat.
Trallune was quite confortable in the complete darkness and somewhat-cold.  He was worried about their rat-friend, and was, at the moment, trying to think of a possible cure.  Suddenly, he got an idea, and hopep it wasn't too late.  "Hey!  What if we cut off her tail?  Ifwe do it fast enough, the bacteria won't get to vital areas!" He paused for a moment, thinking, when suddenly a terrible thought entered his mind.  THis would certainly work on a kru, but...  "Rat thing!" He exclaimed.  "Hey rat thing!   How fast does your heart beat?  Say out loud!"  Trallune hoped she wasn't actually a rodent, because if she was a rodent, his idea definitely wouldn't work at this point.  After all, rodents hearts beat at a pace thousands of times faster than that of a Kru.  Really, any mammal's beat would be much faster than his, but especially  a rodent's; their's were fast, even fro a mammal.
Keyla looked confused at Trallune. "Actually it's not rat thing, more like weasel thing. I'm pretty sure my kind is probably part of the weasel family anyway." Keyla looked at her tail, cowering at the idea of her beautiful fluffy tail being ripped off. She shuddered in fear looking back at Trallune. "But wouldn't my tail being pulled off hurt?" Keyla sighed petting her precious tail. "I'm pretty sure weasels have a similar heartbeat to rodents though, I'd have no clue how fast that is." Keyla almost cried at the thought of death. She looked back at her tail, she'd rather have her tail pulled off then die. "I-if it's really necessary for me to live, then I guess I'd have no other choice. But I need my tail for balance, I'd be more of a stumbly clutts without it. I also need it for sleeping. Isn't there another way?"
Trallune shook his head, and even though the ra- no, weasle-thing wouldn't be able to see it.  "I suppose we could get Violet, the lizard, to try and suck your blood out, though I'm sure you'd die of blood loss with how much she'd have to suck out at this point, provided your beat is really that fast.  Cutting your tail of probably wouldn't work at this point.  But...." Trallune got two ideas, both of which would probably kill the weasle thing.  He scraped his front claw across the cold stone floor, and said softly: "I have two more ideas, but your not going to like them." He paused for a moment, picking bits of meat out from his teeth with a long, thing toungue.  "We can either pasturize you, or else we can infect you with a small amount of even deadlier disease, then at the last second, when you've built up an immunity to it, immerse you in liquid swimmming with it, and hope it kills of the other bacteria.  That's all I've got."
