Feyru plodded along, steadily getting closer to the group of creatures. As she came closer, she decided to go into the bush a bit more, as to not be seen.

"You can never be too careful," Feyru thought, "better safe than sorry."

Feyru quietly went into the bush, and walked closer, beginning to get a clear picture of the group. It seemed as though one of them another lizard thing, was guarding some kind of food. She wasn't sure about the other animals, and Feyru didn't care, she was just tired.

"Well, I may as well make some kind of bed, now that I am more hidden."

Feyru dug a little into the ground beside a clump of trees, dragging some leaves over to make it a bit more comfy. Feyru settled into the leaves, giving a soft grunt of contentment. She gave a last look around. The crickets were making their cherping sound, and the wind was softly blowing. Feyru closed her eyes, and went to sleep.

Toumas growled with his ears pressed against his skull at the creature that pounced on him. He thought about this quickly, and relaxed a little, his ears perked up yet again with the growl nothing but a memory. "Pfft, I ate on my way 'ere, I don't want yerr food. If yerr really that desperate ferr me to get ya some though, I'd get yeww some," he calmly strolled away, but stopped once he passed the scaled creature. Turning around and facing the group once more, he added, "Yeww guys are entertainin, though yeww'all might wanna relax a bit, I never said I wanted yerr food." With that, he left the creatures.

Though, he wasn't planning on staying gone for a long amount of time. He just needed to figure out how to get past the one creature's amazing vision, and he's be ready to rile them all up again. Though, it didn't seem like a good idea seeing as they were at his throat the whole time. Maybe he could find a different creature to amuse himself with instead. He stopped and sniffed around once he emerged from a line of bushes that separated him and the aggressive creatures, looking for a new playmate.

Violet sighed. She was exhausted, but the electricity from the storm was rolling off her  midnight black scales and that kept her from sleeping. She hated nights before a big storm, they always made her feel restless and uneasy. She curled up anyways, and closed her eyes, trying to sleep. But opened them again as her attempt to sleep failed. She heaved to her feet and began to pace back and fourth as she thought about the days events. She had made two friends, the rat thing and the Kru, but she didn't know their names yet, and the didn't know hers. Did she really want to stick with them? Sure, there was safety in numbers, but that also meant more mouths to feed, and greater chance of attracting other predator. She sighed and laid back down. Finally her restless body allowed her to fall asleep and escape in a dream.
Trallune, unlike Violet, wasn't the slightest bit tired.  He only needed one or two hours of sleep a day.  Plus, to him, the world was bright as day.  He opened his ear slits as wide as he could, and listened.  He could hear for a decently impressive distance.  He didn't exactly know why he would possibly evolve that, but he also didn't know that his race inhabited the freezing stony depths of the earth, where the heat isn't bright too bright at all.  After a few minutes, he became tired of this, and stood up, simutaneously saying to the large lizard he had befriended, "If the little rat thing wakes up, tell it I went hunting for tree-squid...  Excrament.  In case the stupid one comes back, it should be put off from our food by the bitter scent given off by the excrament, in case it tries to agitate you through our food.  I'm Trallune, by the way." And Trallune sped into the forest without another sound.
A small body snuck out of the bushes and crept towards a hollow tree, the pethetic looking animal shivered as she snuck forward and layed down inside the of rotting tree. Lying motionessly and tired, suskino closed her eyes feeling relieved that she could finally sleep after the past few days. She soon drifted into her sleep expecting pleasent dreams but instead woke up from a horrible dream. After sleeping she felt alot better physicly but ever since her parents died her emotions have been crazy and out of control. Suskino sighed and got up sadly, walking away as she jumped at every sound she heard. She tried to get used to it and managed to finally calm herself down and continued to walk. She had no destination she just wanted to get away from where she was currently at. Suskino pused and went over to a muddy puddle and started to lap up the mucky water.
It is now dawn and a dull light welcomes the islanders. Thunder clouds are over head, proveing there will be a storm, but when, no one knows.....

Toumas continued his hike through the forest, eventually stopping and killing a creature he deemed too boring to be a playmate. He was hungry anyways. The smell of his "friends'" food unexpectedly made him hungry, even though he ate before stopping to see them. It was getting lighter out, however, and Toumas wasn't sure if he should return to his group and sleep off the day or if he should venture into the world of the sunlight. Being a nocturnal animal, Toumas has never roamed by himself during the day, and he was curious, so he decided to go against instinct and stay up. Besides, his friends were probably tired, and he could go play with them some more, their tempers might be dulled with the lack of energy.

However, a sound caught his attention. The sound of something rattling in the forest around him. Sniffing the humid air, Toumas decided to investigate, as he had nothing better to do. He followed the sounds, eventually leading to a muddy puddle with one of his own drinking out of it. "'Ey, what'er yeww doin' out 'ere this late? That water dun't seem good ta drink from," he said, walking around the other Narnoctator to face them. "An' I wouldn' mess with 'em creatures down that way some, they dun't have any humor in 'em," he added, thrusting his head in the direction he came from. Quickly giving the sky a glance, the clouds seem to slowly become angrier with the threat of downpour, though he kept his attention on his new "friend", just in case this encounter turned out like his last with another creature.

She looked down, a creatures dead remains were just below the tree she was in. That could have been her who was killed, she had to be more careful about where she goes to sleep. It didn't matter right now. She stretched her hunches slowly and clumsily climbing back to the group. The sun was beginning to return to the light advancing sky. The fresh smell of the morning air had refreshened her body. She loved mornings like this. She walked back to Trallune and Violet with a small smile on her face. It was mornings like this that she felt blissful. Morning would return to the island soon, that gave her a warm feeling. If anything could be better, she wouldn't know what. It seemed like nothing could dampen her positive attitude. Once next to the other two she neatly had sit on her haunches. Morning was coming, to her sunrises were the most magical events in the world.
Trallune had acomplished many things during the night.  He didn't think that staying on the beach was a good idea, because twice a week the juvenile Akele'li swarmed the shore, and he didn't want to be there when that happened.  THings that he had done were hunt down a suitable location, eat, and bury tree-squid eggs in the sand surrounding the food pile, as tree-squid eggs seemed to ward off many animals, mainly mammals.(he didn't know this, but it was because they gave off an extremely bitter scent)  Trallune didn't even know it was dawn.  The cloud cover took care of that.  So, at the moment, he was hunting an extremely large reptile.  For the sake of explanation to our modern friends I will say it resembles a tortoise the size of a horse with five eyes, except it has no holes between the skin and the shell.  Instead, the shell fuses to the skin of the tortoise, providing extra armor and limited movement.  Trallune had managed to remove quite a few armored segments, and was attempting to deliver the final blow from atop the animal's shell as the small herd stampeded.

Violet had been dozing quite peacefully, but she that had been interrupted the Kru mentioning his name finally. Trallune she thought. toying with the name in her head. It was a interesting name and she liked it. Then she realized the Kru didn't know her name. Violet made a mental note to tell him. It was dawn, and the clouds told her a very bad story when she looked up at them. Something wasn't right in the air... some thing she remembered from her childhood. She gasped when she realized what it was.

Twisters.

This storm would hold the violent swirling winds that had taken her parents. She turned and ran, passing the weird rat thing. "We have to find shelter now. This storm quite possibly holds twisters." she turned to find Trallune. Violet tracked down his scent when a stampede came hurtling towards her. She held her ground, preparing for a fight.

Suskino jumped at the sound of the newcomer talk and backed away slowly even though he was the same of her kind, she felt more comfortable around him, but she was still being cautious and said "i was thirsty and this was the nearest water i could find, and I'm only up because i took a little nap a few minutes ago... I don't really have anywhere to go so I'm looking for a decent place to stay," she paused "Are you going to h-h-hurt me?" she asked her voice shaking and her hair raised. Then a huge butterfly landed on her nose, its wings blue spread apart with beautiful black markings as she shrieked and fell over rolling on the ground trying to get it off eventually it flew away almost getting squished but went just in time. She layed there and put her paws over her eyes and she gave out two low little cries.

As the animal bucked, and Trallune held on by his claws for dear life, Trallune noticed the large lizard bracing herself, directly in front of the stampede.  "Your up I see." Trallune shouted over the din.  "Would you mind giving me a hand?  I'm finding this a bit" at this exact moment, the animal managed to fling Trallune off of it's back, and he would have been crushed under it's feet, if he hadn't managed to catch a few of the claws on his front left foot in it's eyes, further enraging the animal.  Trallune took his other foreleg, and dug his claws into more of the animal's eyes, as it attempted to shake him off through wild shaking of the head.  At this point, the rest of the herd had stampeded away, leaving only this one individual.  As Trallune attempted to pull himself onto it's head, so he could bite the weak spot on it's neck, he finished his sentance with "difficult".

Violet couldn't help but laugh, Trallune looked ridiculous holding on the the bucking thing. She lunged forward, slamming into its side with the force of a freight train, breaking its ribs instantly. She was as big as the prey and had no problem holding it down. "You might want to kill it." she told the Kru. "Its you kill so you get the honers of killing it and eating the heart."

She then looked back up at the sky, remembering the twisters that had swept her parents right off the nest as she hatched. Violet honestly didn't remember much accept the furious wind and the scream of her mother and father. She also new hat she was lucky it had killed them, as horrible as that sounds. Her kind were cannibals, and they would have killed her as a snake will eat its own young. But still, Violet feared twisters, no matter how lucky she had been.

(Since the ribs of turtles and tortoises are fused into the shell, I'll assume you meant broke the shell instantly) As the beast twitched on the ground, Trallune used the points on the end of his jaws to burrow into the things neck, (his head was specially adapted to allow him ot kill things much larger than himself quickly) at which point he snapped his jaws shut, severing it's spinal cord.  He then burrowed his head in farther, his head easily cutting through the flesh.  When he reached the skull, he quickly ate the lower half of the brain, and brought his head out.  When he was out of the creature, he said: "Eat the heart first?  That's a strange and twisted tradition.  You can eat the heart if you like.  Personally, I prefer the kidneys and liver.  Oh, and we better get the food pile off of the beach before the juvenile Akele'li swarm the shore.
Toumas flicked his propeller like tail in surprise, normally other Narnoctators didn't talk to him like that. His group normally pushed him away or made the conversation go around in circles for a long time, not straight out saying what they're doing like this one did. The part that confused him the most, however, was the part where the other creature said that she didn't have a place to go. Toumas has heard stories of lone Narnoctators, but never met one. The stories normally made them heroic, so Toumas brightened up immediately once this incorrect information processed. "'Ey, yerr a lone one! Did ya do somethin amazin and stuff?" Toumas asked enthusiastically. Distracted by the butterfly, Toumas pounced on it, successfully squishing it beneath his large paws. After examining the squished innards of the butterfly for a few minutes, his attention went back to the other creature and her low cries. "'Eyy, yerr an amazin Narnoctator, seein the insides of this butterfly shouldn't be that scary, it should be borin, right?" he asked, curious as to why a Narnoctaor that he idolized for little reason whatsoever would make noises that were alien to him.
