Mortarius flinched when he felt the bullets shoot into his back. It would take more than this to kill him but geez, it hurt like hell... While he was flinching his prey yanked herself free and hid behind the other human, who kicked him in the stomach (which hurt like hell too) and was now pointing his gun at Mortarius's head. Mortarius gritted his teeth. A shot in the head would hurt even worse. It might even kill him. He wasn't sure if it would kill him or not, he had never been shot in the head before, but he definetly didn't want to find out, he liked being alive.

"I'm fine, thanks..." his prey was saying to his attacker.

"I'm not disgusting! I'm an angel! Angels aren't disgusting!" Mortarius snarled, buffetting them with his wings and knocking them both off their feet, before quickly flying to the top of a building. I can't believe it, he thought, I was actually chased away by a mere mortal. No mortal can chase me away! I'll have to get revenge later...

He watched the girl cry "Resuke! Are you okay?"' as she staggered back to her feet and started pulling Resuke back to his feet.

Then he noticed a big black dog stalking towards the other young man, who didn't seem alarmed at all by Mortarius's sudden attack (which annoyed Mortarius very much). But Mortarius could tell this was no ordinary dog, it was a demon in disguise. The girl noticed the dog too, she screamed and clung to her friend, though she probably couldn't tell what the dog really was. Interesting... thought Mortarius, settling down to watch.

Tristian gazed at the dog growling at him. He was trying to figure out why a dog would signal him out of the crowd, especially with a grand fight going on, until it hit him. This dog's more than likely not a dog, and more than likely a demon. "Shapeshifter, maybe? Or a straight up dog demon? Friend of one of the demons out there? Actually, don't answer any of those questions, I really don't care. Anyways, I don't like freaking out the people around the city, so let's go take a walk somewhere else a little more quiet and not insane," he spoke, kneeing the demon's jaw before walking off to a different street with a large lack of people. He really didn't care much more about the fight, seeing as it calmed down, and there wasn't a winner. So, maybe he did care because they didn't kill each other off. That just means more work for him. Which was perfectly fine for Scarecrow.

Nightmare had to fight the urge to tear into his leg when he kneed her. She debated on weather or not to follow, but decided that he was no mach for her as long as she was careful. Latching onto his energy, she looked at his hopes and dreams. He wanted her to follow deep down, but not on the surface. Trotting behind him, Nightmare waited until the were at a quite spot in a park.

Nightmare glanced around, making sure no one was watching, before she released the disguising energy around her and reveiled her true form. "Your a fool, you know that right? I mean, what were you thinking? That you could actually take out a Archangle?" Here she climbed up a tree to a branch above the human's head, just to be safe.

Midnight Before Dawn

Plot

There were hard times; like the ones where you attempted to get by;

There were good times; like those of when you got a vacaton and work went well;

And there were the good ole' times...

...when no one died.

But now, after millions of years, the creatures that used to coexist with everything else and stay under the belt are begining to come out, causing much death along the way. The majority of the public still have no idea about them, and its best to keep it that way.

Maybe you have lost a loved one to them, or been turned into one yourself? Or perhaps you are the unaware victum, who ended up being mistaken as one in disguise?

History

There was a reason why New York was always fast-pace; always changing sooner then you thought it would. Roads would be crowded and streets named and renamed; buildings built and buildings removed; but have you ever thought why?

There is a reason for all of these things, yes. But not only for growth; but for safety, safety from what, you might ask...

But thats for you to find out.

Rules

You have to have at least one killable character and up to 5 non killable

You may make up to 5 characters purely for killing; those characters must have simple names with 'SK' at the end of their name

Up to seven Hunters are accepted; and unlimited 'SK' hunters

Humans are not immune and only one of your human characters may be nonturnable

Fallen Angels are just 'angels' or more of winged beings that serve under the power of any sort of 'good' immortal who is worshipped as a god.

At this moment only Vampires and Werewolves may turn your characters.

Ghosts can be made by killing off a human character.

If you do not want to loose a character via killable; make them a human character then they could die and become a ghost. ;)
