Gauge nodded. "If we wanna get over to New Moon Island safely, we need Cresselia's aid. If she's in Johto, we might have a chance to find her." He couldnt believe their good luck--in fact, it sounded too good to him. However, there wasnt anything better to do. "Unfortunately, I'll need to stop in Cherrywood to grab my Gengar and a book. --If you dont mind, that is."

Tealeaf looked over Darren's pokemon, a bit wary of the fire type Arcanine, though curious at the bouncing psychic type.

The Trainer paused. "Uh, I'm Gauge, by the way. Sorry for not saying before; it's been pretty hectic today."

Chatot chripped contently as they seemed to change their minds. Feathers puffed out as he started to preen them again. He nodded and bobbed his head up and down delighted and nodded. "I will come. If I may. I might be old, but I still have a trick or two in me"
He said, nodding slowly and clicked on his beak. The bird then bounced around for a moment, before he flapped his wings for a moment and attempted to land on the older man's shoulder.

"Cresselia is the healer. It is said she can dispel nightmares and mental scars with just looking at her. She will help I am sure" The bird said, nodding slowly again, fluttering his feathers some more.

"Wow, that sounds like it will be an adventure. You know, if you don't mind, could I come with you guys?" Darren asked with a smile. He made sure to keep close to Arcanine for the moment, as the canine was the newest of the group and he hadn't gotten a feel for his personality yet, so he need to make sure he could keep the fire type under control. Zoroark was staring at the other pokemon that were present with the two other trainers. The Bayleef looked like a pretty formidable fellow, and that dragon looked like it could take Salem out in a single blow. Even thought Metagross was part psychic, Salem had no doubt that fighting him would end in himself being the loser. There was something abouth that Chatot that bothered him though. It wasn't anything too major, just something that pricked at the back of his mind.

Cel didn't sit still however. Bouncing around she flew in front of Rune and Raina and said, 'Hi!' Before taking off and hovering in front of the Bayleef. 'Hey there, I'm Cel. Who are you?' As she asked this, she flipped herself upside down to get a different perspective of the dino pokemon.

The egg hatched. With the help of the Marowak, the small newborn Celebi broke free from her egg and started to wail her arms and legs and wings. Small mouth opened as she coughed and giggled again, then she was awake. Sitting up, then bounced and alllowed herself to fly up and spin the air, giggling.

(Thank you!) She said as she lande back infront of him. Churring she stretched her arms up, and smiled delighted at him. (I'm not sure. Are you a Marowak? What's under your skull?) she asked, leaning over to pull on the skull. She didn't know, or didn't care, it wasn't easy to say really, afte rall she was newborn. Singsongly voice wa given as she squeaked out (You are painted! Can I paint you? Can you paint me? I want a skull too! And I'm hungry! I think)

"Well, I don't see why you shouldn't come, as long as you keep your wits and manners about you." Turning to Gauge he said with a smile, "It will be no problem at all. The more the merrier. And it will be of benfit because I would greatly enjoy seeing that book of yours." The older trainer was somewhat surprised at the bird landing on his shoulder, but he didn't protest. This would allow him to keep a closer eye on the bird, just in case he tried to pull something.

'We are meeting quite a few new pokemon today, aren't we Rune?' the large dragon asked with a smile.

'Indeed, though I am not sure about all of them,' he replied in a low rumble as he stared at the Chatot positioned on his trainer's shoulder.

"Anyway, let us not sit here and doddle. We must be on our way to Canalave and then to Johto. Come." With that, he once again began his trek towards the port city.

Marowak was still in shock at the newborn Celebi, but was brought out of it by her barrage of questions. He waited patiently for the Celebi to stop tugging on his head before he said anything. Chuckling he said, "My skull doesn't come off, it is part of my head. And yes, I am painted. As to whether I can paint you or not, that would be your choice. Though I don't know if I want you painting me." The mention of being hungry brought him to the fact that he had little food in his home at the moment. He had been meaning to go get some on his way home, but the egg had kinda sidetracked him. 'Well, I suppose we should go get you some food then. And as to getting a skull too, I don't think that will happen anytime soon.'

Standing, the ground type made his way to the edge of his den and used his bone to hold the bush in front of his doorway aside. 'Come on Little One, let's get you some food,' he said with a smile.

Arcy bowed slightly to the other Pokemon. 'Hey there' He said looking at every Pokemon. The spark in his eyes began to fade as his body began to lose excitement, though still jumpy and happy, his tail wagging, he sat down and looked at the Bayleaf with an inquisitive look upon his face. He barked softly and looked at the trainers tilting his head back and forth as he took a few steps forward, but still quite close to Darren, waiting on his word on what to do next.

He looked up at the sky, as if looking beyond the clouds itself.

Gauge gave him a sheepish look. "I cant say the book is real adult, however... It is a child's storybook."

Tealeaf pulled his head back as the Reniculous few up into his face. He tipped his head as she spun upside down. "I'm Tealeaf," he responded to the hyper pokemon.

Gauge looked back to his Pokemon. "Tealeaf, c'mon," he said as he headed off with Graystoke.

Tealeaf dipped his head and walked under the pokemon in his face. "Bay!" He responded to his Trainer. He looked to Rune and Raina. "After hearing Suicune's talk... I dont trust this new one either..." It was true. The Chatot didnt appear to him to be too trustworthy.

'Well it's nice to meet you Tealeef. Looks like we are going to be traveling together. That makes me happy, now I can have more friends to play with!' Cel had kept pace with the Bayleef floating next to him, upside down.

Darren sighed as he looked at Cel. "Salem, you may want to go get Cel before she gets herself in trouble. Again." The Zoroark knew full well some of the trouble the Rueniclus could cause, and he too wasn't ready to be put in one of those situations again. While Salem went about doing this, Darren motioned to Arcanine and said, "Come on boy. Looks like we are going myth hunting in Johto. You may actually get to see more than Just Suicune now." The smile on the trainer's face spread ear to ear as he thought of meeting the other legendaries. No one had seen them for years and now two spottings in one day? This was remarkable on any scale.

Graystoke let his mind wander through the events of the day. so much had happened and it was barely noon. Who knew what else was going to present itself that day? Looking over at the Chatot on his shoulder, he gave a small smile. While he didn't fully trust the Chatot, he didn't think everything he said was a lie either. He couldn't really justify judging someone right off the bat, so he decided to wait and actually see if the Chatot proved to be trustworthy. So far he hadn't done anything to prove he wasn't, but after 30 years of traveling across the regions he had picked up a few cautions.

Rune on the other hand, didn't just the bird. Of course, he didn't trust much of anybody, pokemon or human, though human especially. Raina was simply indifferent. She would wait and see what happened and if the time arose that she had to do something, she would.

"Well, that's alright, I really don't care what kind of book it is. If it has information about the legendaries, I am interested. Hmm, I wonder if we can catch a ride somewhere to speed us up on getting to Canalave. I would rather not have to walk the entire way. Back when I was your age I could have made it, but that would be a hard trek now."

Silas had decided that he wasn't going to get anywhere with sitting all day and watching television, so he decided to go to the island now.
He had gone to the long lines of boats, and, fortunately, someone was willing to take him to an obscure island only marked on old maps from before Plasma, and agreed tot take him in return for catching a fish pokemon for him if they saw any, because around here there weren't even any pokeballs to use if someone saw a pokemon.
Silas was out on the boat with Ling and Maybe, watching the ocean, when he saw...
  Was that...
Suicune? (Silas is well versed in mythology) What the?
When he explained to the owner of the ship, they agreed to change course to follow the legendary, this was a one in a life time opportunity, especially since a legendary pokemon would help Silas with his goal.
He couldn't let what had happened in Orre happen to the rest of the world.
(What happened in Orre, you ask?
  You'll find out later.)

"There's a train stop in Pastoria..." Gauge said. He'd seen a train station near the Great Marsh Preserve on his way through the city. "I'm sure that the train can take us back toward Canalave."

"Bay?" The dino seemed to perk at the word "Train". He loved riding on the bullet train from Johto to Kanto, and though the other trains in the other regions werentt as fast, he loved them none the less.

The trainer chuckled and patted his pokemon's head. "I know you like the trains, bud." he said.

The Bayleef rejoiced, leaving earth shaking steaps as he bounded forward. "Bay! Bay!! Oh I just love the trains!! Can I ride with the window down again??" He knew his trainer didnt understand a word he said, but he could still request it anyway.

The sight of so many people out on the lakefront drew Iris' brows together. Why on earth would so many people choose to come to Lake Valor at the exact same time, on the exact same day? Then again, she was there at the same time as the rest, so she didn't exactly have any right to complain about it. That's not to say that she wouldn't complain, just that she would be a complete hypocrite in doing so.

A quiet sigh fell from her lips -- this would mean going around after all. However, before she even so much as back-stepped to retreat a thought occurred to her. If the pokemon she had glimpsed had indeed been a water-type, as she surmised, then its most likely point of origin would be somewere close to, or even in the lake itself. Gloved fingers pinched the bridge of her nose; this tiny side venture would have to be called off until the population surrounding the lake dispersed, and by then the scent would no doubt be too muddled to follow. How bothersome...

Reluctantly, the limping woman retreated from the treeline. Given time to find a nearby town, or at least something else to do, she would be fine. Until then she would just have to mope.

On her trek awak from the lake, the tell-tale buzzing of her C-Gear tucked away in her bag was enough to give her a near heart attack amid her own silence. How that jumble of machinery could even get a signal out here was beyond her. Nonetheless, she knew it rarely rang for anything less than important. The few people who knew how to contact her knew she didn't care for idle phone chatter. As such, duty compelled her to rifle through her travel bag and pull the gadget out.

To her surprise, rather than a call she had received a written message. The message in question was from an old friend she met during her days of recovery after the war. Like her, he had been injured, but once the war was over he had gone on to become a ship captain. Only rarely did she hear from him unless she was asking him to sail her to her desired destinations in her travels.

Upon further investigation she discovered her reason for his unexpected message. As it would seem, his ship was on its way around the Sinnoh region's waters when strange weather patterns caught their attention around Newmoon Island. Since he had been the one to drop her off in Sinnoh region about a month beforehand he was curious to know if she was still in the area and willing to investigate. Not only were abnormal, erratic weather patterns bad news for the sailors, but veterans like her captain friend had never grown out of keeping an eye out for trouble.

And Iris, with her past akin to his, would surely understand this best of all.

The older man smile at the mention of the train. "Ah, that's right. There is a train stop there. Well then my friends, let us be on our way!"

It took a good chunk of time to reach the city of Pastoria and then make their way to the train station. But they did make it and now that they were there, they waited as the passengers offloaded so that they could get on board. "It's been a while since the last time I was on a train. And looking at the size, I don't think that I will be able to keep you two out, Raina, Rune. Sorry, but I believe the two of you will have to go back into your pokeballs."

Rune turned to Tealeaf to give him a last instruction before he went into his pokeball. He felt that he could trust the Bayleef the most out of the group that would be left out of their pokeballs. 'Keep an eye on that bird for me. If he tries to pull anything while I'm not out, take him out.' With that the Metagross and Haoxorus were taken back into their pokeballs and put back into Graystoke's coat pocket. Looking to the Chatot on his should he said, "So, is there a specific name I should call you by? Or is it simply, Chatot?"

Darren had been on plenty of trains back in Unova so it wasn't too much of a surprise for him to be seeing them now. He smiled as he stood by Graystoke and Gauge, waiting for the train to empty out and ready itself to take in more passengers.

Salem had gotten a little nervous being around so many people, since Zoroarks weren't exactly the most widely liked pokemon out there. Because of this, Salem had employed his illusion powers on himself to make him look like a human. He looked like a medium build, black hair, blue eyed young man with a mischevious grin that crossed his face every once in a while. Cel on the other hand, had no problems with people and had actually made a point to say 'hi' to as many as she could before they stepped on the train.

Darren gave Arcanine a pat and asked, "You okay with going on the train boy?"

Catch That?
Setting
You can be located in any of the five known regions, but try to pick a region in which others are playing so you arent travelling alone. Unova is the most desicrated area and Pokemon are highly scarce here. Sinnoh and Hoenn are least affected (since they're islands and not connected to the main land), but still quite devoid of life, while Kanto and Johto are in between.

Pokemon Centers and Marts still exists but are lumped together (think B&W Version if you've played it) and few and far between. Wild pokemon are also avalible, but are as rare as the trainers who possess them. Professionals of pokemon too are scarce, meaning few Professors, Gym Leaders, etc.

Plot

All across the known Pokemon universe, the critters have become scarce. Where once Pokemon joined human as pets, now dogs and cats have become the household animal. Join with the very few trainers left that are willing to pay large sums of money for their Pokemon, make teams and see if you can bring this ailing species back to it's former glory!

Pokemon have also wised-up. They are harder to catch, harder to train, harder to befriend. Use all your knowledge, as well as the knowledge of others, to win battles, and the hearts, of these pokemon! Who knows, there might even be an Elite Four out there somewhere!

History
Decades after team Plasma was defeated, a second wind of members arose and took power, having worked underground long enough to gain power and liberate Pokemon from the human hand. Suffering a second defeat by the hands of the public, the fools gave up, but not without permanentally changing the course of Pokemon and Human lives. Wild pokemon became hard to find, and the ones left where brought to reserves.

These reserves are the last strongholds of pokemon, acting like a Safari Zone mixed with a breeding farm, all run by breeders and scientists in hope of conserving the dwindling population. People who are interested in owning a Pokemon go to these reserves and buy pokemon now, but, for a large sum of money. Being as rare as they are, not every interested person can afford to own Pokemon, so it's up to those who are truly dedicated to owning and training, and conservation.

There is at least one reserve in each region which specializes in Pokemon for that region. Chose your favorite, or have your character travel! <3

Rules
1) No Godmoding. Example: Dont let your Electric type attack OHKO a ground type pokemon.

2) No Mary-Rue/Gary-Stu. Srsly.

3) Absolutely no killing of Pokemon >:[ ...fainting fine, but no killing >3>

4) Depending on your character's age, you may own only up to 3 pokemon, due to the logical amount of money that it'd take to buy those pokemon. Usually, you should start out with one. If your character is older, you may have up to 6.

5) No Legendaries please. Includes Trios of any kind, but does not include ones that can breed, like Lati@s--just, I dont want to see 5 of them running around. xD Talk to me if you reaally want a Legendary.

6) Keep battles to a realistic length. Also, no blood/extreme battle description--c'mon, it'd Pokemon, not Battle-to-the-Death.

7) Pokemon may have more than four attacks. Within the Anime, it's often seen they have more than that xD plus I'd think they wouldnt forget them so easily. Please keep them to a maximum of like 10 though. :x

8) Chansey, Zoroark, Kecleon, Lucario, etc; ones that you get through event or are extremely difficult to find (especially rare genders) should be extremely limited as well. Shinies go for this rule too.
