Ferru, having pocketed several treasures from the temple he had explosively entered, silently approached Brench and Thern, holding a knife and training his eye laser on the demons neck, as the small insect like robot crawled up the back of the other one, holding, with a small needle at their neck.  The contents/effect of the needle remain unknown.  In a calm, relazed, almost gentlemanly voice, Ferru said "If either of you try anything, the other one dies.  We expect a ride to the other continent.  If you fail to accomidate us, well I suppose we'll have to..."  Ferru trailed into silence, a small smile appearing on his pale, inhuman face.
Thern stood confused for a moment, he tried to identify who the voice belonged to, it took a few minutes to realize that it was Ferru. He heard what he said and wondered what that meant, he couldn't see so he had no idea there was a laser pointed to the back of his demon's neck. He however could feel there was a small needle at the back of his neck. Brench turned around when he heard the voice and saw Ferru standing there, not wanting to look back anymore he turned around. He thought angrily about how the group had left them behind, not only because they had forgotten about them, but also the fact they were left to Ferru. "If I live through this I'm going to kill every last one of them, including the ghost," Brench growled at the thought. He looked at his master Thern who looked confused, his eyes showing their usual blank expression. Brench wondered if protecting Thern was actually worth all this trouble. Brench turned around again, this time walking up to Ferru, "Fine I'll help, but Thern has to stay with me so he doesn't get himself lost." Brench tuned twice his normal size, that should be enough for Ferru and his master, more than enough actually. "We'll help you get to wherever your going."

Xina continued to fly, looking down at the passing Carnon. She sighed, moving at a leisurely pace, she never felt so relaxed. She noticed the air grew colder. As a dragon she would be able to handle the cold and thin air, but her human passengers wouldn't fare too well. She flew at a lower height, picking up her pace.

Deonday looked below, wondering how much longer this travel would take, growing impatient he began looking down again, there was the glow of city lights, he looked foreword, wondering if they were anywhere close, well it was beat walking. He remembered how long all that land took to cover, how much pain they went through just to make it this far. Then Deonday thought of how much had happened in the past few months, remembering how he met Lilya, and all they had done together. He then thought of all the pain Zonan and his followers had brung him and the rest of the group, could they really be trusted? If so... for how long? He then looked ahead impatiently, "How much further is it?"

(spyre)

Xina sighed, "Be patient, we have a night flight ahead of us. We have to pass over an ocean, do we even know where in Sharquee we are going? It is w very large place." She looked at Grendile.

Grendile continued flying, paying close attention to the stars as they flew, "Sharquee is North, we're going the right direction." He flew at a normal and steady pace, he loved that he could feel anything again, even if it was only for a little while. Grendile checked the stars every so often to be positive they weren't going off course.

Deonday was annoyed with having to wait, mostly because he was very tired, and one of Xina's rules were to not fall asleep. He looked at Lilya who was in front of him, he wondered what she was doing to pass the time, Deonday never did well with waiting.

(spyre again)

Xina looked at Grendile. "Come on, Casper, pick up the pace. Who knows when someone will pass out and topple off my back? We need to get to land so they can sleep." She flew faster now, beating the air with her wings.

Grendile flew faster to keep up with Xina, he still payed close attention to the stars in case they were to fly off course.

Feralie now struggled to keep up with the rest, she had to flap her wings faster and harder so she wouldn't fall behind. She hated how slow her kind aged, Feralie couldn't wait until she reached her full size, which would probably take a few hundred more years.

Deonday looked ahead to see water in the distance, it was the coastline, it had to be. Deonday looked tiredly at the stars, wondering how much longer this trip would be.

(spyre againnnn)

Xina kept flying, feeling the warm air from the ocean as she flew over it. She sighed, feeling relieved that the warm air was making flying easier. She started to flap her wings less.

Catrin was busy helping the people who lived here clean up the mess, Maddock sat on her shoulder looking bored. "What's the matter?" The squirrel thought about the elf earlier. "Is it about that elf?" Maddock nodded, "Come on Maddock, you should be happy for him. Now at least he's found his friends." Maddock flagged his tail twice and froze up when he heard something. Catrin didn't seem to notice. Maddock climbed off his masters shoulder and ran over to the area where he heard the noise. He saw a cyborg, a demon, and a man. Maddock saw they were headed for the entrance. He had to fallow, while they weren't looking he snook onto Brench, he'd ride on the demon's foot, Maddock knew something wasn't right here, he wanted to figure out what was going on.

Grendile looked ahead, all he could see was the ocean. He looked back at the stars, there was something odd... some of the stars were blocked off... "Xina, I think those are storm clouds." Grendile was just barely able to make out the clouds' color by the stars.

Deonday saw that Grendile was right about the storm clouds, he almost jumped when he saw a bolt of lightning hit a few miles away, there was also the sound of thunder. There was definitely a storm approaching.

(spyreeee)

Xina scoffed, "So? It's just a little rain, we can handle it. Besides we have magic, and must we not forget," she raised her head and let out a triumphant roar. "We are sweepers!"

Grendile was not as confident as Xina, he looked wearily at the storm clouds. "Lightning will strike before you could even think of a spell, and at this hight we're very likely to be hit. Furthermore with Deonday wearing a full suit of armor we're all almost guaranteed to be struck." Grendile watched wearily as the lightning clouds advanced towards them. "I suggest we pick up the pace."

Feralie finally was able to catch up, she heard Grendile mention something about speeding up. She thought dreadfully about having to strain her wings doing that.

Deonday looked at Lilya who was in front of her, he remembered that when in Mariola, Lilya was frightened of the thunder and lightning. He wondered if she was alright with this storm.

Grasha jumped every time she heard thunder, she wanted to scream, but Xina would probably yell at her.

(spyreee)

Xina scoffed. She batted Grendile gently, "Can't be scared of a storm, casper. When we land on Sharquee that would be a tiny worry."

Lilya sighed in frustration. She was dreadfully afraid of storms, she could feel her heart racing. How Xina was acting, she wanted to stab a sword in her back for being so carefree and confident.

Jason was in a daze. Jade hit his head in the temple so he was quite confused on what was happening. Just now it struck him-Jewels wasn't here. He could feel the faint buzz of confusion lift, fear replacing his emotions. "Jewels!" He shouted over the thunder. "She's not here!"

Deonday looked at the clouds as they began to drift above them. He saw a bolt of lightning strike not too far away. He looked at Lilya who was in front of him. Deonday managed to speak in between the rolls of thunder, "Lilya? Are you alright?" He noticed that Lilya seemed frightened of the storm.

Grendile had problems hearing anything above the storm, in this situation they were very likely to be hit. He couldn't believe Xina could be so easy going, not when death practically swirled above them in the form of a cloud. He heard Jason, then realized they left a few people behind, "I can't head back right now, once we get to the other side I promise I'll go back for her."

Xina continued to fly calmly, muttering a protection spell on herself.

Jason made a whimpering noise and buried his face into his arm, worrying about Jewels.

A Day in the Life of a Sweeper
Setting

The setting is on the continent of Carnon. Carnon is a huge land with many cities and different climates. Covering the land are series of species of mythical creatures, animals, and humans. It is said that under the city are underground caverns...

Cities

Mariola: A smaller, more peaceful city than the others, many people with children choose to live here. It is on the plains Mariola and the largest, and most successful, farms are started here. It it known for it's best produce and best onion buns.

Capricorn: Capricorn is a mysterious and small town in the high, misty Mountains of the War. This was where the many wars were fought to free this country from the evil people of Sharquee, their former controller. Nobody really lives in Capricorn, except for widows and the extremely poor. But, some say that the secret entrance to the underground caverns, is in one of the shops... but no one really knows.

Kolnco: The Gem of the Coast. Thats what the people call Kolnco. Its a beautiful place for vacation, retirement, or just living. The beaches are the best on Carnon and the people are friendly and kind. It's famous for it's yearly 'Fish Feast. That's when all the fishermen in the city go out and catch as many fish as they can, then they fry them all up and the entire city gets to eat all-you-can-eat fish!

Carnon City: The largest City on Carnon. Everyone who's anyone lives here. The people here are normally very very rich. But the crime rate has gone up, and the people hid to protect themselves, and their money.

South Banks Megalopolis: A huge city on the river of Ja where the crime rate is large and the death toll is also large. Many sweepers come here to earn huge bounties but are often killed in the process. Only the most elite can come here and earn the bounty.

Plot

" A sweeper only needs a genuine desire to help..."

This land was once peacful and quite. It was very rich and prosperous. But, over the years, the law enforcement has been overturned and completely removed. Now, the only hope for Carnon, is their sweepers. The 'good' sweepers have been given a license to do so. The 'bad' sweepers have just been hired as practically assasins. They will stop at nothing to get their prize, and many others as well.

A person has gone missing and there is a very large bounty for whoever finds him. The only problem is: it's like he disappeared from the face of the Earth! No one can find him, for he is expert at hiding, and now the two sides of Bounty Hunters feud, which doesn't help find this person any faster. Evil Bounty Hunters will kill anyone that gets in their way, as good bounty hunters only kill to cover their bare necessities.

History
This person that has gone missing has made the Bounty Hunters angry, by stealing many of their bounties and killing many of them. This person also killed many innocent people and robbed them of their money. He is a greedy thief, and we have no idea what he's doing or where he is. And when he disappeared, the Bounty Hunters were trying their best to find him...but he just disappeared suddenly. The bounty for him has risen as the years went by-but, no one can seem to find him no matter how much riches are at stake. And the Bounty Hunters still try to find him.
