Micki's Turf

Owned By Sciggy's Dino Haven (#3965) 1/5 Inhabitants
The thick forest appears to beckon you as you slowly wander in. You, as a reporter, had heard an amazing story between a young bambiraptor and a hyracotherium. The young raptor's enclosure was right next to the hyra's enclosure. At a young age, the bambi was sold away from her mother and appeared to be very lonely in the empty enclosure. The owner of the bambi couldn't afford to buy her a companion and was forced to leave her alone. When checking in on her one morning, the most amazing discovery was made.
The young bambi was curled up a little ways away from the fence, a young hyra watching her intently. Curious as to what the young dino would do, the owner observed for a few moments before noticing a part of the fence was shorted out. The hyra, to her shock, squeezed through the shorted out hole in the fence and trotted over to Micki. Stunned, she slowly gave Micki her meal and observed further. Pulling out a camcorder, she recorded the carnivore enjoying her meal with the hyra calf nibbling on some of the dense plants right next to her. This footage is what lead you to see if this film was legit.
Sciger, the owner and sender of the footage, welcomed you warmly to the enclosures, leading you past the deinonychus territory. One of them was nearby, an aggressive female known as Sayla, growling ferociously at them. The alpha male with a rainbow collar, Killian, silenced her however with a nip to the muzzle and eyed you and his owner. Edging away from the fence a little bit, you noted the end of the territory and the start of the bambi's roaming area. Sciger led you into the territory, welcomed by the cool, lush plants and warm sunlight peeking in every so often.
"They're just a little ways ahead, on the other side of the fence," Sciger announced, continuing on and pushing her glasses up her nose a bit. Quiet, you soon spotted the pale green bambi with light pink patches. Your jaw nearly dropped to the floor upon seeing the hyra curled up next to her, fast asleep with her companion. Micki was asleep as well, using her friend's side as a pillow. It was a sight to see a raptor, a vicious carnivore, curled up on her prey; and a hyra comfortably asleep next to her own predator.
"Aren't they precious...? Pity I'll have to fix that hole eventually...once Micki grows up and predatory instinct takes over." Sciger sighed deeply, sounding a bit saddened. She reached into a pocket and pulled out what looked like a collar and whistled softly. The raptor immediately lifted her head to look at the pair and her deep blue eyes lit up. Croaking happily, she scrambled to her feet and trotted over quick as she could, slowing down just in time to avoid running Sciger over. You had stepped back warily but the bambi appeared to be completely friendly with humans.
"Hi, good girl..." Sciger scratched the underside of the bambiraptor's chin, the raptor's neck dipping down and off to the side. The look in her eyes was pure joy, dipping closer and closer to the ground with her pleasure. The hyra appeared to slowly be waking up as well, getting to her hooves and stretching a bit. Then, she trotted over, interested in what Sciger had in her pocket.
"Greedy girl," Sciger reached into her pocket and gave the herbivore a special treat, an apple. Micki sniffed what her friend had but didn't express interest in eating it. Then, carefully, she snapped the collar around the trusting bambi's neck. Micki tried to look down and see it, turning her long neck at strange angles. Even her hyra companion turned her attention from her treat to sniff at the foreign object around Micki's neck.
"She'll get used to it. So, this enough proof for ya?" Sciger couldn't help but smirk a little and you slowly nodded.
You were definitely gonna have to visit more and keep the story going.
