Rayas was currently in a forest. The male cryolophosaurus could scent many things, such as the leaves and bushes, and the scent of the babbling creek. Rayas sneezed and shook his head quickly. The cryolophosaurus lashed his tail, he had caught the scent of a dryosaur. THe cryolophosaur followed the scent, almost drooling.Â
Â
There it was, or, there they were.
Â
Rayas narrowed his eyes , he could see a female dryosaur, accompanied by two younger dryosaurs. The hungry crolophosaurus stalked closer to his impending meal. His footsteps were light, and his breath was slow and steady. Rayas was at the foot of a slope, he looked down, the three dryosaurs were quickly ravishing the clumps of fern in between trees and rocks. The mother's dryosaur's head jerked up, it had smelled him. Rayas knew he has no time to waste. Rayas quickly sprinted down the slope, stumbling on rocks and clumps of fern. The cryolophosaurus lept up, plummeting down, and landing atop f of the baby dryosaurs. The other juvenile dryosaur shreiked and ran away, along with its mother.
Rayas had succesfully killed the jevenile dryosaur, and was now feasting on the soft part of its belly. Who knows when the time he will eat will be? He had to eat fast, he could already scent other hungry dinosaurs approaching.Â
Rayas lifted his black and white head. A Bambiraptor. A grey and blue, featjhered raptor stood a few tail-lengths away. Rayas narrowed his eyes and screeched at the raptor. He pushed himself up from the carcass, and turned around. He eyed the raptor from head, to tail tip. He knew it was small, and could not be such a big threat. But its scent did not carry that of other bamiraptors, so he knew it was a lone raptor.Â
Rayas lifted his leg and clawed at the ground, a low growl emerging from deep within his throat. He took a few steps forward, lowering his head. His tail lashed angrily. Â THe male cryolophosarus growled much louder, his claws twicthing anxiously and clawing at the grass.
Rayas roared at the annoying, pesky raptor. He clambered over to the dryosaur, almost ignoring the small raptor. THe cryolophosarus lowered his head and ripped a chunk of flesh from the dryosaur's carcass. He lifted his head and stared at the Bambiraptor in front of him for a few moments. He snorted, then a deep growl emerged from his throat. He lifted his head and turned around, the chunk of juvenile dryosaur meat hanging from his jaws.
Rayas reached a small clearing near the border of the forest. This, he claimed as his territory. He had built a nest in between a large jumble of rocks, in case any females were interested. The male cryolophosaurus made his way towards the nest. He bent down and tossed the meat into the nest. He got some branches and leaves to cover up the entrance.Â
Rayas raised his head and parted his jaws. Scents flowed into his jaws and up to his nostrils. The male cryolophosaur turned his head to where he was before. The slope where he had killed the baby dryosaur. Rayas snorted, he could smell the mother and the remaining jevnile nearby, the scent stained with fear. Rayas shook his head, trying to free himself fro mthe scent. He scrambled over into the forest, weaving between trees and bushes. His yellow eyes peirced through the shadows of the trees. He spotted the Bambiraptor eating from the carcass. Rayas snorted and shook his head. He still had not gotten his fill.Â
Rayas slowly emerged from the shade and shadows of the trees and into the shadowed clearing. He snorted and lashed his tail. He walked closer to the carcass, and the raptor. Rayas might not be as big and bulky as a normal male cryolophosaurus, but he made up for it with agility and speed.Â
Rayas watched as the grey and blue raptor stalked away with a chunk of flesh in its jaws. Rayas shook himself and snorted. He made his way over to the jevenile dryosaurus carcass. He lept atop of the carcass and looked around, his tail waving. Rayas lept down and began to strip away meat from the carcass.
Rayas had gotten his fill, and decided not to carry anymore meat to his nest, since the scent of meat would attract intruders into his nest. The cryolophosaurus lifted his head. He parted his jaws and let scents flow into his mouth and travel up to his nostrils. He caught the scent of a river. The now full cryolophosaurus followed the scent and sound of water. Â
