Alianna laughed, which came out as a hoarse cawing noise. She opened her wings and flapped in a happy gesture, flicking the feather on the necklace with her beak. She meant this as a 'It looks great! Thank you for taking it' type gesture, but she didn't know if the gesture was understood.
Ok, how to keep this girl out of trouble and intertained until sundown, that would be the real question. Alianna perched on the back of the bench and began preening. This was a bird habit she did when she was thinking. She stopped and glanced around. She had feathers that kept her warm, but it was a little cool out.
Then an idea came to her, and she cawed to make sure Atria's attention was on her. She jumped down to some dirt and put her beak to the ground. Carefully, she scratched the letters 'BRB' into the dirt. She examined them for a moment. The letters were messy, but could be read. She looked at Atria to see if her message was received.
“You like this necklace?†she asked warmly, stroking the raven, she could tell the bird was happy; maybe her owner had worn it a lot? She watched the raven preening her feathers and felt at peace. “I guess not†she sighed contently “I guess we could always just hang out here, I like it here†she laid down on the bench, putting her hands behind her head and watching the clouds go by. She had begun to slip off into the deliberations of her mind, feeling slightly tired from getting little sleep the night before.
She yawned, and started to close her eyes before hearing an attention grabbing caw. She looked for the raven find her… writing something on the ground?! She sat up instantly, that was quite jarring. She felt the need to do a double take just to make sure she wasn’t still daydreaming. ‘Wow’ was the only coherent thought that crossed her mind. She just sat their gawking at the ground in disbelieve awkwardly.  â€˜BRB’ she read, and then laughed nervously ‘well that was unexpected’ she was amazed ‘this bird just keeps getting more astonishing all the time’.
“Alright see you in a bit†she waved at the bird looking like an idiot. ‘Wow, just wow’ she breathed ‘that was very weird’ she shook her head and smiled. ‘I wonder where she went?’ she thought as she lay back, figuring it might be awhile before Alianna the raven returned. She had dozed off, but was stirred awake by a caw. She rubbed her eyes, promptly noticing the bundle in her lap. She watched in astonishment as the bird proceeded to write another message. “Okay you really need to stop doing that†she remarked with amazement “that`s just too cool†she smiled “you never cease to amaze me Alianna†she hadn’t even bothered to read the message she was too focused on the act of a raven writing it in the first place. She managed to pull herself together long enough to read it, and the opened the brochure to see fifty dollar’s fall out “really?†she asked “where did you get money?†if Alianna had given Alianna the raven money but had refused to see her she was going to be irritated. Then again the bird had gone to all the trouble “alright lets go†she said standing up and starting to walk off “could be fun†she smiled “thank you Alianna, good idea†she walked off in the direction of the fair ‘though there`s still the chance I could be arrested for truancy’ she thought uneasily.Â
Alianna cawed in delight, rolling over in a playfull manner. It amused her that Atria was so shocked. But, Alianna herself would have been shocked if a bird had wrote in the dirt. Obviously, explaining complecated messages wasn't easy, and explaining the money could get... tricky. But then again that was where being a bird was usefull as she got excused for stuff like that.
She hopped after Atria, following to the fair. At times, she'd flutter to keep up. So, why are you skipping school Atria? You don't seem like the type who is a juvinile delinquent, and a performing raven isn't all that special. Whats going on with you? Alianna had no way of voicing these questions, but sometimes even the presence of an unjudgmental animal got people to open up.
Atria nearly laughed “you`re silly†she shook her head at Alianna as the bird rolled over. She sighed, smile disappearing again as she walked on in silence thinking about school; she was getting so far behind, but why deal with those people? They were infuriating, she`d rather spend time with her little raven friend. Soon they arrived at the fair; it was a noisy place, but full of joy. She went and bought her wrist band the stopped, “What should we do first?†she asked Alianna smiling again, the sheer number of choices was overwhelming. Atria wasn’t really a fan of being around so many people, she kept her distance and avoided eye contact. She was afraid of hurting people, she wasn’t completely sure of what caused it those other times, but she was certain she had done it somehow. It was though she was preparing for ridicule that wasn’t even coming. She swayed nervously.
Alianna could sense Atria's unease. I don't know whats bothering you, but it will be ok. She thought. Alianna cocked her head at Atria's question, think of all the rides. Her favorite as a little girl had always been the hanglider, which simulated an hangliding trip. The ferris wheel would also allow Aliiana to join. But, at the same time she wanted to be with Atria, she wanted the girl to have fun.
Alianna cawed, and hopped up to Atria, tugging at her pants leg. She scrathed in the dirt, 'Hve fun'Â and abreviated the 'have' so it would be quicker. If the girl laughed, Alianna would count the trip as a success.
Atria grinned, watching Alianna write things would never get old, though it had become considerably less jarring. “I will†she smiled sweetly, knowing her little friend was worried about her. She knew how empathetic animals were, undoubtedly the bird could sense her every emotion.
She looked around “well I know what I want to do†she said suddenly and with uncharacteristic happiness as she headed off to the zipper, which was similar to the Ferris wheel, but much faster with enclosed cars that spun independently of the spinning of the ride itself. Atria preferred fast rides to slow ones. She found that the line was short and she was able to get on right away. As the door was shut and locked she couldn’t help thinking about school and her parents. She sighed, the ride started and she found herself worrying that just by her being on it, it was going to break. ‘I’m bad luck’ she breathed, trying to tune out the things that had happened before. The car started to spin as the ride completed its first rotation, and she shook the unpleasant thoughts free from her mind and just cut loose. It was fun, and that`s what she wanted to enjoy this moment and not think about all of those other things.
Once the ride stopped and she got off, she felt better; nothing bad had happened. It felt like everything was going to be okay. She headed off to get on a different ride.
Alianna followed Atria around the fair, watching her loosen up. She didn't go on the rides with her, birds wern't exatctly allowed onto the rides. But, she did fly up to places where she could be seen if Atria looked for her. At the same time, she kept an eye out for any threats.
While Atria was on the ride, Alianna took the chance to have breakfast and eat some discarded fair food. It didn't bother her to do this anymore, but she still refused to eat bugs. It was just the human part in her saying 'ew' that prevented her, she could eat them if she wanted.
After awhile Atria took a break to grab something to eat, she decided on an unhealthy meal of popcorn and cotton candy. As she sat down she looked around for Alianna, who she spotted a short distance away picking food off the ground. She whistled for the raven, showing the bird the popcorn. She already knew that Alianna had a thing for popcorn as well. All the people around still had her on edge. She watched the rides operating… so many moving parts, so many things that could break. She swallowed hard, her hands developing a cold sweat as images of rides breaking down and people screaming forced their way into her mind. She shook her head to see that none of what she had just been witnessing had actually transpired. ‘Got to calm down’ she thought as she tapped her fingers ‘I can`t stop freaking myself out like this all the time’ she sighed ‘but still…’ she was worried. She knew she had an overactive imagination, and her guilt roasted mind was bound to play tricks, but she couldn`t help but feel like a ticking time bomb there… where there was just so much that could go wrong.
She stroked Alianna`s back trying to calm down “thanks for trying to cheer me up Alianna†she said quietly, almost at a whisper. She knew the raven could see she was upset. She tapped her feet restlessly “I’m sorry Alianna†she apologized out of the blue standing up tensely “but I can`t stay here†her eyes were fixed on the exit gate. “I can’t be here†she paused, holding her breath “I hurt peopleâ€â€bad things will happen†she wasn’t entirely sure what had triggered it the other times, she thought it was letting her anger get out of control, but maybe if wasn’t. Just to be sure, she wanted to get out of there. That couldn`t happen again; she wouldn`t let it. It was hard enough to live with that emotional burden already.â€ÂI appreciate what you were trying to doâ€â€but I can’t†with that she walked at a brisk pace for the exit; it felt a bit strange talking to a bird as if it were another person, but she felt that Alianna could understand her; her intelligence was obviously advanced by any animals standard.Â
Atria sighed, stroking Alianna broodingly, looking down at her feet. She felt like she was suffocating from the anxiety, like the walls were closing in around her. So many upsetting images whizzed through her mind, every since then, she`d been seeing things go wrong even if they weren’t. ‘Why am I like this?’ she though despondently, her emotions shifting form sad to bitter. She felt like she had never done anything wrong, it was others who had been cruel; then why did the hands of fate choose to punish her with this curse?â€â€when others seemed more deserving. ‘Is this my destiny?’ she thought vexingly ‘to live in isolationâ€â€what kind of life would that be?’ she felt resentful ‘everyone was right…I am a born failure’ she could feel tears, but forced them back, and clinched her fist before dropping it in defeat at her side. Reigning in the anger she could feel rising within. She wouldn’t let her emotions over take her again.
‘No, that can’t be all’ her mind searched for meaning for reasons ‘I had fun today. I don’t have to makee myself suffer’ she reassured herself ‘I can have fun like that again’ she took a deep breath, calming herself. ‘Can’t keep punishing myself like this’ she sat down on a street bench under a lone tree in front of a little shop; cupping her head in her hands in shame. ‘I need answers’ she decided, pining to talk to Alianna the human, but settlling for the bird.
She took another deep breath calming herself down, and forcing the rage back into the depths of her conscious. She sat up and looked at Alianna ‘what am I going to do?†she though aloud worriedly to Alianna, confiding in the bird just to get it off her chest “how can I ever trust myself again? What if--what if next time I kill someone? How could I live with myself?â€Â

Also, its a curse; you make the best of it, but that does not mean you enjoy the curse.

I may add things as the RP progresses, I want this RP to be character driven. So Have Fun!
