Asai took a sip of his drink and pulled his hood further over his head while listening to the excited chatter of drunk people in the tavern. He liked to listen and learn about the Ronin who had defeated a mighty dragon called Ragner on this day five thousand years ago. Since then not a single dragon had been seen. Asai wondered how a real dragon would look like, he had only seen them on drawings in the books that he had read, but those drawing were nothing compared to a real live dragon. It were not only dragons that he liked to read about, other species of life also intrigued him.
The people in the tavern were getting more and more rowdy and Asai didn't liked the way some of them were staring at him. He was a stranger in a black cloak and a hood over his head, and he knew the people were suspicious. They were always suspicious of him. Asai paid for his drink and waved at the people in tavern, as if to say goodbye and wish them a nice day. Some waved back clumsily while others just gave him a simple smile, Asai wasn't sure if those waves and smiles were genuine, but as long as they didn't bother him Asai didn't care.
At the bottom of a lake, a sleeping giant is still in a sleeping state. Mordimir awakes to the sound of something large soaring over the lake. Mordimir suddenly opens his eyes and starts to swim to the surface. As he breaches the water's surface, he let's out a roar that echoes through the nearby mountains. He looks around to see that the world looks surprisingly different. "That's weird. . ." Mordimir thinks to himself " Wasn't there a war going on a while ago?" Mordimir fells to tired to fly so he decided to walk around untill he felt like flying.Â
Mordimir decides to explore the new world he had woken up in. "Where is everyone?" Mordimir says to himself as he walks through the ruins of an abandoned fishing village. He found a pile of fresh fish in a hut He peeks his head inside the hut to look for anyone; he saw no one. He started to eat from the fish pile and was halfway done untill he heard a scream coming from behind him from outside of the hut. He turned around and saw a female human with a tipped over bucket at her feet. He decided to run away from the human and the village in fear of alerting anyone else of his presence.
''I'm bored...''
Asai thought as he neared the gate of the village where he just had been. The people where still celebrating -and to Asai's surprise- even the guards had left their posts to join in, there was not a single soul in sight. ''We are the savest village in one kilometer circumference!'' Asai mocked the low voice of the headguard who had let him in -after a full inspection. ''Sure dude, keep on dreaming.....talk aboutresponsibility!''
'I only hope that no one tries to attack them while they are celebrating...I mean come on! A whole village and no one is guarding! What kind of people live here?!''After a couple of minutes of ranting and talking to himself Asai sat down against the wall. ''I'm so bored that I'm talking to myself....ah, if no one else is guarding....then there no choice but to guard it myself''Asai peered into the distance faking a stern and focused look. ''Who knows what will happen.''
