Moon stared at the wolf in front of her "Hello Aarre my name is Moon" she said to him then she turned back to the bigger wolf. "If I don't know you name what am I supposed to call you" then she noticed the blood and she felt worry stir in her but she ignored it he clearly knew what he was doing when he treated himself. Then she looked at the noble wolf in front of her and her tail started to wag. "It is nice to meet you" she said softly. Then she tried to stand as tall as she could showing she had once been of Royal blood but she was still tiny none the less. "Did you follow me" she asked the wolf in front of her.
Aaron had finished tying the last couple of knots in the dressing of leaves, working ever so gently as to not rip the leaves. He picked up his head and moved it all around to test his movement with the dressing. It seemed to fit tight and snug, it would suffice. The green leaves covered his right eye like an eyepatch, but he could see quite well with his good eye that the couple behind him had lost all interest in him. He watched as they introduced themselves, tails wagging here, ears perking there. He had no interest in making relations. Yet, he couldn't explain the twinge of pain he felt all at once. It was like a jab to his heart, and his face cringed for an second. He felt the corners of his mouth curl into a faint smile, and turning, he continued into the shadows.

Moon was trying to get answers out of the wolf in front  of her when all of a sudden she turned around to see the big wolf when she noticed he was gone. Moon felt a pang of sadness he had been the first one to comfort her loneliness even if he didn't now it. Moon knew she was small and probably was to weak to take down any form of prey other than a rabbit but she was determined to stay with the big wolf. Moon put her nose to the ground and sniffed "Come on and follow me Aarre I need to find that wolf" she said and ran into the shadows but she managed to run into his back because he hadn't gone that far. 'Why did you try to leave me" she asked and she shaked a little.

Aaron had been lost in thought, but was all the while aware that someone had been following him. He stopped short, causing the she-wolf to run smack into him. He peered around with a puzzled look, then kept walking without saying anything. But the she-wolf was persistent and was questioning him. He finally turned to her and saw her standing firm, yet quivering slightly as he faced her. He towered over her now, his eye glued on her, but despite his monstrous height and gnarly scars, his countenance was not menacing in the slightest. He was instead puzzled for a moment, as he watched her stand up to him.

But it was her question that intrigued him all the more. He opened his mouth to speak, allowing a glimpse at the terrible fangs that were before hidden by his silence. "I didn't try to leave anyone." He said, his voice low but somehow soft in tone. He peered behind her and locked eye on the male wolf, then glanced back at the she-wolf. "I figured you would'nt notice, you were clearly engaged in something else." He said. Finishing, he studied the wolves and realized they were handling his presence with trepidation, so he flashed a quick smile and waited for a response.

Lien walked back to her den alone. She had been favoring her back right paw, and her fur was messier in some places than others. She had a run in with the "troublesome trio" on her way back from spying on her father. They had cornered her, so what was she supposed to do? As she made her way through the busy crowds of wolves she could see out of the corner of her eye the chubby wolf and the older one helping their leader back to his den. He had obviously been roughed up, and when one of them caught sight of her he hurried his step and prompted the others to move faster. Lien smirked as she watched them. "That'll teach those meatheads. They'll be licking those wounds for a while." she said chuckling, but as she continued on she realized that she probably got herself into a world of trouble.

The leader of the trio was the heir to power over one of the high ranking clans. Her father would no doubt be on her tail about it, and he would be hearing it from the clans. Entering her den, she found her spot and laid down. Her father normally slept along side her; it was the only time they were ever so close. She put her paw on his bed and felt it was still somewhat warm. Then she redirected her attention to the bed opposite her's - it used to be her mother's. She also put her paw down on it..but it held no warmth. Lien sighed and layed down, curling her tail around her, but she did not sleep. Instead, she looked onward to the outside of the den and watched the wolves move here and there almost as if they were on autopilot. They never noticed her, and she never got involved..except for tonight, she may have bitten off more than she could chew..

Everything was happening so quickly. The small wolf, Moon she said her name was, had introduced herself, and only moments later she was beckoning him to follow her as she chased after the large wolf. He didn't know why he, a lifelong loner, had decided to follow them, but he found himself trotting after Moon with a pep in his step. When they found the large wolf, Aarre was impressed by Moon's confidence standing up to him. She was a spunky little thing, that was sure. Aarre sat quietly in the back until the large wolf had finished replying, then he stepped forward. With his head held high, no fear in his voice, and strong, clear eyes, Aarre spoke.

"It's hardly likely that anyone would miss you leaving. You have great presence. Besides, you're likeable. I, for one, would be honored if you would stick around. At least for a nice chat, maybe?" He then sat down on his haunches and calmly gazed straight into the eyes of the large wolf.
Moon listened to Aaron talk and wagged her tail. "Well if I ever learned some its never judge a book by its cover" she said and smiled at the big wolf who might have appeared threatning and scary to any one else. Then she looked back at the wolf named Aaron then back to the big wolf."Can you tell me your name I need to know your name so I can know what to call you My name is Moon" she persisted. Moon felt her ears perk up and her tail start to wag as she waited for him to tell her his name.Just then Moon remember the wolf behind her he hadn't made a sound other than scaring her and telling her his name and talking to this big wolf. Moon felt her ears drop a little because she knew she hadn't really said anything to him but Moon focused on the task at hand getting this big wolfs name.
Aaron was silent as the male spoke first, and then the she-wolf, Moon. She was persistent in deed, but not quite in an irritating way, and for some reason Aaron kind of found it amusing. The male never gave his name, but Aaron noticed that while he had seemed to give off a feeling of disdain at first, he was more accomodating now..for whatever reason. Aaron smirked, a glint in his eye as he watched the male. He must have been talking to him and going along with it in order to win favor with Moon. Aaron broke the silence with a low chuckle. For a moment, he turned his glance to the trail he had been following, then turned around until he was facing the others instead. He smiled again, a half-smile, perhaps a bit hesitant or even forced, but it was an attempt no doubt. He sat down on his haunches. "You can call me Aaron." He said.
"You can call me Aaron." the big male wolf said. Moon felt her tail wag and she smiled at him ""That is a very nice name" she said. "This is Aarre" she said and looked at Aarre. Then Moon stood up and turned her head and looked at the trail he had been heading down. "Where were you heading" she asked him but when he looked like he wasn't going to answer she dropped the subject. Then she looked at Aarre "Where were you heading before you scared me" she asked him in her small voice. Then she looked back at Aaron making sure he didn't leave again.

Aaron might have slightly regretted his decision to make aquintances almost instantaniously. He had no desire to become responsible for another wolf other than himself. He was more than glad that Moon appeared to have forgotten her question about where he was going. He had his secrets, and he liked to keep it that way. Delving too far into his personal life, others might find something they hadn't wished to see. Aaron himself has fought over the years to forget it all, but in vain.

He sat there, not quite expecting all the pleasantries he had been receiving all at once. It made him slightly uncomfortable, and he began to get restless. He had no idea why any one would care about his name..no one had ever cared to ask. And what bothered him more was the absence of logic being put into play here: Who on earth would decided to follow a wolf as brutish as him in the dark of the night and ask him to introduce himself and converse with them? His head was swimming, and he felt as if he should maybe just leave.

Moon noticed that Aarron was becoming uncomfortable because she was sensitive to everyone's emotions and Aarre also seemed tense."Why don't we all walk and talk" she said to the other wolves hoping her idea would help calm the tension.Moon pranced in the way Aaroon had been going. "Come on" she said to Aaroon and Aarre.Moon looked up at the sky and walked on the path. "Where do you guys think this path even goes any way she asked them both as she walked beside them. Silver looked up at the moon and noticed clouds in the sky. "You don't think it will rain do you"she asked worry in her voice.

Inwardly, Aarre chuckled. Moon seemed to ask questions without ever expecting answers to the questions. She also had no problem carrying on a conversation regardless of how uncooperative Aaron and him were being. He got up and followed as Moon led the way. Her voice was soft and soothing, but Aarre could hear the worry in it as she asked about the rain.

"I think it will rain. I hope it will rain." He found himself replying."I like the rain. But if you don't, I know where there is shelter nearby." Aarre was unsure why he would offer up this shelter he often called his resting place. But somewhere inside, he had a notion that following Moon would lead him to the thing he had searched forever for.

Hae grew restless. She couldn't seem to sleep. She could feel something stirring in the air around her, like something noteworthy and possibly path-changing was about to occur in her life. She yawned, then sat up and stretched. Her long legs extended far in front of her. With one last shake of her fur, she rose up and plodded out. Peering through the waterfall gave the stars and the moon a beautiful rainbow hue. She sat down just behind the waterfall and listened to it's dull murmuring, watching the sparkling water as it caused the light from the moon to dance and glitter. She felt entirely at peace, but yet eager for whatever was coming around the corner. Finally, she lowered herself to the ground right behind the waterfall and drifted into a fitful slumber.
Moon felt her tail wag as she walked on the trail. Moon listened as Aarre talked about knowing a safe shelter for the night. "I think going to shelter for the night is a perfect plan" Moon said. Then Moon looked at Aarron "You should come with us rain is bad for a healing wound especially if you want it to heal quickly" she said for him. Then she looked at Aarre and smiled "Where is this place you are talking about." Moon walked slowly and waited for Aarre to answer her question about the place. Just then a cold breeze was in the air and moon could help but look up the moon peaked through the cloud illuminating her own silver and white fur.

Aaron listened and watched, his ears perking with every high pitch note Moon's voice hit. She was extremely enthusiastic, Aaron picked this up right away. He couldn't explain it. He wanted to get up and leave but something about the idea of having someone to talk to that night soothed him a bit. He figured, if anything, it might be good to get his mind off his usual thoughts, so he went along with it. Moon was the first to hit the trail and lead the way...though it was apparent she did not quite know where it was she was leading them. Aaron smiled faintly. Aarre had eyes only for Moon and that was obvious, but Aaron said nothing.

Aaron also looked at the clouds and nodded. It was about to pour any minute now, and he had to agree with Moon about the rain ruining his dressing. He thought for a moment. "If you really want to know where I was going and where that trail leads to, it's the way to my spot. It's where I've been staying." He said, almost sounding as if he was thinking things through instead of conversing with others. His ear flicked and suddenly he looked at them, realizing what he was doing. "It's right up ahead a few paces. Very close, if you would rather just stay there." Almost as he was finishing speaking, a drop of rain hit his nose. He looked up and saw the thick rain cloud, and watched as it eclipsed the moon. "But whatever we do, we should move now."

Plot
Imagine being the target of forty different neighboring clans you once had been in alliance with. Over the years, your clan and the others around you had enjoyed peace and prosperity. A conspiracy to take over as head of the Forty Clans has been lurking in the shadows, and many wolves have disapeared without a trace. Evidence of betrayal points to your clan. Not surprisingly, the traitors in your clan refuse to give themselves up, so the entire clan takes the fall. The Forty Clans wipe out your home, and everyone in it. But by the skin of your teeth, you escape. You are alive, but if any of the other tribes found out it would spell the end for you. So you live on, without a name, without a clan. You are a ghost to the rest of the world. You have your freedom, but what do you choose to do with it? Are you one of the traitors, swearing to finish what you started in the first place? Or are you one of the innocent victims who have been forced to go rogue? Will you seek revenge? Or will you do what you can to keep the peace in the already hostile environment?
