Diet Herbivorous Brachiosaurus was a long-necked, giraffe-like herbivore living in the late jurassic period of North America, Africa and Europe. It is an extremely well known dinosaur for its shape and has appeared in numerous dinosaur television programs and films - including Jurassic Park. It is thought that its long neck helped it nip vegetation from the tops of trees.

Paleontologists once thought that Brachiosaurus' long neck was used to keep its head above water - making it a marine dinosaur. This idea has since been scrapped when it was thought the heart couldn't take the pressure underwater.
