VALENTINES EVENT

Do we get anything for playing?
Yes, you get several things from playing. Including:
* the "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" achievement the first time you get your pair to breed,
* various Valentines collectables for your shelf,
* a Valentines Cookie if you participate,
* 1 scale if you breed 50 eggs or more (2013),
* and up to 30 scales, a sack of herbifertile, and chocolates oysters (etc) if you breed the most eggs out of everyone on Exhibited (2013).

How do I play?
In February go to "Map", click on "Valentines Event", and then click on, "Let's Play!".

Do I have to buy the dinosaurs I'm assigned?
No, your pair is fictional and only last for the duration of the event (Feb. 7 - 20/2013). Any eggs they produce are also temporary, and will disappear once then event ends.

How do I get my pair to breed?
Once you've clicked, "Let's Play!", it should show you which Valentines Day item you will need to encourage a breeding between your pair. For example: my Stegosaurus pair needed a Valentines Red Rose each time I wanted to breed them.

How many Valentines items are there?
You will be assigned 1 species out of 10 possible dinosaur pairs, and each species uses a different Valentines item. Therefore there are a total of 10 Valentines items for you to collect.

What are the 10 Valentines items?
I assume that the Valentines items are the:
* Greatest Love Songs CD,
* Romantic Cruise Tickets,
* Valentines Diamond Ring,
* Valentines Flower Crown,
* Valentines Heart Balloon,
* Valentines Heart Necklace,
* Valentines Heart Plush,
* Valentines Perfume Bottle,
* Valentines Red Rose, and,
* the Valentines Teddy Bear.

What about the Valentines Plushie (pink dinosaur)?
It is my understanding that the Valentines Plushie is available for purchase in the Plushie Shop on Valentines Day (Feb. 14) only. It will most likely cost you $5000 to purchase it on that day. I would recommend you buy as many as you can afford, because they will increase in value over the next few months.

How do I collect Valentines items?
You can get Valentines items three different ways:
1. through random events,
2. through players' shops, and,
3. by trading your Valentines items for another player's - for example, you might be able to trade a Valentines Teddy Bear for a Valentines Red Rose, etc...

How do I use a Valentines item on my pair?
Go to "Valentines Event" on the Map page, and scroll down to the drop-down box. Select the Valentines item you want to use and click "Breed!". Note that only Valentines items that encourage your pair to breed will be shown in the drop-down box. So if you don't have the right item, you won't be able to breed your pair.

How many eggs do I get per breeding?
I'm not sure about the other 8 species, but my Stegosaurus pair gave me 3 eggs for every breeding and Emmer's Tyrannosaurus Rex pair produced about 1 - 4 eggs per breeding.

What can I do with the Valentines items if I don't want to participate in the event?
You can put one of each item on your shelf, and then trade the rest for other rare items or sell them in a few months when their value increases. Or you could save them for next year's event, if you're patient enough. ;)

What does the Valentines Cookie do? How do I get it?
The Valentines Cookie was given out to players who bred 50 or more eggs during the Valentines Event (2013). I have been told by Eltafez (#77) that the Valentines Cookie gives your dinosaur: +15 hunger, +1 SPD and +1 INT.

EASTER EVENT
Work in progress.

Do we get anything for playing?
Yes, similar to the Valentines Event you can get:
* the "Scrambled not Stirred" achievement the first time you collect some foil eggs,
* the "I Like Eggs in the Morning" achievement if you collect some foil eggs at exactly midnight,
* and various Easter collectables for your shelf and dinosaurs.

How do I play?
As you browse the site, a bundle of foil eggs will appear for you to collect. When you click "claim!", you will receive 1 - 5 foil eggs which you can save up and then exchange for various items on the Easter Event page.

How often you find foil eggs and how many you get is completely random; however there is a limit of 100 foil eggs per account per day. So if you find 100 foil eggs one day, you will have to wait until after reset the next day to get 100 more.

How long does the Easter Event last?
The Easter Event runs every year from April 2nd until the 30th.

How do I get the Easter Plushie?
I think the Easter Plushie will be available for $5,000 in the collectables shop on Easter Day only. Like the Valentines Plushie I would recommend you buy as many as you can afford, because they will probably increase in value over the next few months.

--------------- The Following is Paraphrased From Eltafez (#77) ---------------

What does a Golden Egg do?
"The Golden Egg is a stat-boosting food item:

Golden Egg = +50 hunger, +1-10 in all stats"

What are the Marshmallow Bunnies, and what do they do?
"Marshmallow Bunnies are also stat-boosting food items:

Marshmallow Bunny: Green = +10 Hunger, +30 SPD
Marshmallow Bunny: Pink = +10 Hunger, +30 STR
Marshmallow Bunny: Purple = +10 Hunger, +20 in all stats
Marshmallow Bunny: Yellow = +10 Hunger, +30 INT"

Do the Easter Eggs do anything, or are they just for our shelf?
"Easter Eggs are just shelf items. Nothing more."

SUMMER EVENT
Work in progress.

Do we get anything for playing?
Yes, similar to the Valentines and Easter Events you can get:
* the "Professional Water Balloon Filler" achievement when you throw 250 water balloons,
* the "Tossing Champion" achievement when you throw 100 water balloons,
* the "Having a Whale of a Time!" achievement when you throw 50 water balloons,
* the "Toss-a-thon" achievement when you throw 25 water balloons,
* and various Summer collectables for your shelf and dinosaurs.

How do I play?
As you browse around the site you will find colored balloons, each one representing a club:

QuillFeatherToothClaw

You gain 1 point for every water balloon that you throw at an enemy club, but you can only throw balloons that represent your club's color. For example, I can only throw Red Balloons because I am a Quill.

What do we do with the points we get?
Similar to the Easter Event, the points you get can be exchanged for backgrounds, clip ons, plushies and collectables on the Summer Event page.

How long does the Summer Event last?
The Summer Event is a yearly event which begins on July 16th and ends on August 16th each year.
