Not contacting players with issues
As of late, it has come to our attention that when we receive a report that the person who reported the issue is taking it upon themselves to contact the person. You do not, ever, under any circumstances, contact a player if you think they are breaking the rules or terms of service. You make a mod report and leave it to us.

The reason for this should be self-explanatory; it is not only bordering mini-modding but also harassment. Both of these things are against the rules and means you will only get yourself in trouble. The mods are here to enforce the rules so that you don't have to, even if you sure they are breaking them. Contacting them yourself can easily cause an argument leading to further issues and it could also mean the person has a player and a mod messaging them which can be a bit daunting. There may also be things going on behind the scenes that you don't know about. The person may not even be breaking any rules (which has been the case before) and you can be getting them worried that they are going to be in trouble from the mods.

To sum up, don't message the player, make a mod report and leave it to us.
