Greyson pulled up into a parking space at the pound. The building looked like it needed a good cleaning and a few repairs, it was aweful. But really, it didn't need to look pretty. Greyson unbluckled and opened the door to his car. He heard Orca do the same beside him. Orca was one of his many werewolves, but he was also one of Greyson's favorites. He wasn't treated like an equal, that was for sure, but he was treated better than most.

Greyson closed his door and locked the car before he walked up to the enterance. Orca followed, a few steps behind him. The inside of the building wasn't much better than the outside, plus it smelt.

He scowled, moving quickly down the hallway to one of the workers. He didn't want to be here long, it was gross. He stopped an employee and asked,

"I am looking for werewolves, can you point them out to me?"

Owen smiled cheerily at the two men who had walked in.

"Yes! Yes, right this, uhm, no, that way," he said, pointing to the right and then swinging his arm awkwardly to the left, nearly causing him to fall into a counter. "That way, yeah."

He waved them on and walked towards a hallway lit with ceiling lights that felt too bright and sharp. His shoes sqeaked on the floor, and his long legs carried him quickly towards a long corridor filled with cells.

"Yeah, so the werewolves are down there on the end to the... yeah, the right, and I'll just kind of be over here for when you pick one out. Just call, I mean - oh, yeah, Owen, my name's Owen, just... yeah... okay," he awkwardly broke off, stepping to the side.

Greyson made no attempt to hide his annoyance with Owen. Rolling his eyes and sighing deeply, he walked away from him to the werewolves. They were all filthy and many were ill or extreamely underweight. No matter who he picked, he would have to put a lot of work into them to make them just look presentable. But that was okay, that was the sole reason he was here. Greyson had plenty of slaves, pretty much all of them were werewolves. They were no challange, by the time they went to training their mothers had got it stuck into their minds to behave.

Hopefully he would end up with one that was at least only partly trained. Greyson was not what you would call mentally stable due to his mother's drug use during his pregnacy. The only thing that had kept him from ending up in jail was the fact he could let all his anger out on slaves rather than humans. However already well trained slaves didn't give him many excuses to do so.

He stopped at a random cell which held a female werewolf.

"Tell me who you are, your name, age and such." he commanded.

Orca walked a few steps behind his master, his eyes slightly downcast. He avoided the gaze of Owen, just as slaves were meant to do. He also didn't look to either side of him. The pound made him unconfortable, so many of the slaves in the cells looked at him as if they were starving homeless men, as if he had any power, or disire to help them.

Though tecnically he and the slaves in the pound will equal in status, Orca didn't feel that way. He had been picked to be at a higher ranking back home than regular slaves. His job was basicly help keep everyone in line as well as keep Greyson save.

He stopped when Greyson did. He shifted his weight unconfortably and tightened and loosened his grip in one hand over and over again. His green eyes were on the floor.

The female werewolf stood gracefully to her feet, the picture of poise and obedience. Her eyes were cast to stare just before the toes of the man's shoes. Her ribs swung as she took in a breath and stated,

"I am called Maria, my age is eighteen, my weight is near one hundred fifteen, my coat is pure black. I am capable of many jobs including, but not limited to, housekeeping and assisting, cooking, keeping books, and waiting on ladies."

With each syllable she spoke her hands and fingers moved in delicate, wave-like motions. Her black hair, matted, dirty, fell into her face, but she dared not lift her hand to brush it aside.

Greyson frowned softly at the girl. He was looking for more 'wild' than what she seemed to be. Pretty much all of his slaves got pretty close to tame before they even left the care of their mother. Since she would already teach them to stay out of trouble. Most slave masters would like that kind of setup, but Greyson found it boring. If the pound wasn't so filthy and if he hadn't started getting a headache from the smell of the place he would have kept looking. There had to be some reason the werewolf was dropped off, if she had no issues she wouldn't be here. Greyson turned to face Orca. He was standing upright, his eyes searching around the room. He acted differently than typical slaves, who would have been slumped and set on staring at the ground. But Orca had a different job from typical slaves. "Go get the man from before." Greyson ordered and Orca instantly replied with, "Yes master." And was off.
Orca walked quickly down the hallway. He was on a mission to compete Greyson's orders as quickly as he could. Sometimes just going a little slower than he would like could anger him. The last thing Orca ever wanted was to anger his master. He didn't like having to talk to humans in general, there were many times just standing near them without their consent triggered a negative reaction. Taking in a breath, he approached Owen. "Sir," He started, "My master wishes to speak with you." (I gotta go, I can't add more or I can't post anything! Sorry!) Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah Blah blah

Owen jumped and nodded enthusiastically. "Yeah! Sure thing!"

He took off a little too excitedly, nearly running straight into the werewolf before him, but he somehow twisted himself in an odd enough manner from his shoulders to his feet that the whole problem was missed entirely. Then, gathering himself after his unnatural, awkward movement, Owen rushed down the hall towards his waiting customer. When he stopped before the cell his body seemed to rock forward as if his head would keep going and lead him to fall, but it bounced back like a balloon whose string had been yanked on in a violent manner.

"Yes! How can I help, sir?"

Orca was strong enought to stand his ground when hit, but he choose not to. He let himself get knocked to the side and hit into the cell door. Even though Owen very clearly ran right into him, if Orca hadn't moved he could be acused of getting in Owen's way and being a nusance.
He straightened himself and wiped off the dirt from the back of his shirt. This place was so filthy, all you had to do to get dirty was lean up on the wall.
Looking disgusted, Orca went down the hallway to Greyson and Owen. He stopped a view steps early to keep out of the way.

Greyson took a step backward from Owen, a little off put by him. He looked way too happy to work at a place like this. He looked and acted like a total moron. But to be competely honest, Greyson thought everyone were idiots.

"Ah, yes." He said slowly, as if he wasn't sure what to expect from him. "I want to know the price for her." He said and he pointed to Maria even though it was pretty clear he had been looking at her, he felt that maybe Owen hadn't been paying much attention. Expectally since he had just ran right into Orca beforehand.

Owen sniffed and stared at her, then pulled out a little book from his pocket. He leafed through it, stopped on a page, and burried his nose in the binding to get a better look.

"Let's see... Maria... It looks... oh, okay, yeah, it looks like she's... shoot," he muttered, staring up into the air. "How do I say it... when like, you know... c'mon, Owen... Right! She's like, uhm, her price, I mean, it's kind of whatever you're willing to pay. Best offer! That's what it's called!"

Owen closed the book and stuffed it back into his coat, then smiled nicely at his customer.

Greyson wasn't supriced by the lack of a set price, workers here advoided doing much work for the slaves dropped off here. They were of little value afterall. But it did suprise him that they actually had a name listed for her. A slave's name was not really important, in fact Greyson rarely bothered to remember them unless they were around him often. Orca, for example.

Greyson reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet.

"I'll give you seven fifty." He said as he opened the leather wallet. It was on the cheaper side, but slaves here weren't valued much anyway. They were secondhand and often damaged in some way.

Owen smiled giantly. "Thanks! That's lots more than anyone else wanted to pay for her!"

He took the money and glanced over it before placing it carefully in a pouch he pulled from his belt that was returned to its place on his hip very gently. Then he dug through his jacket and pulled out a slightly crumpled paper.

"I know this can't be your first time buying a werewolf, but we have a, ah, what are these called... oh! A pamphlet on how to care for them during the full moon and stuff if you, y'know, need one at all!" the worker said before turning to unlock the cell door and say to the werewolf, "I guess you're all set, Maria! Make sure you behave!"

Then he turned back to the customer and added, "Oh, do you want her like, delivered? Or, you know, you can like, taker her now, I guess I just assumed 'cause of the cash. That was, yeah, like, rude of me, probably, sorry, uhm... I mean... like, if you want to take her now do you want her collared or leashed or anything?"

Greyson rolled his eyes when Owen started talking about werewolf saftey and he heard Orca huff behind him. He was well aware of what happened at full moon, as well as pretty much everyone on the face of the planet. People knew that even when it was the common belief that werewolves were just fairytails.

"No I don't need a paper full of information about common sense," Greyson said. "And no I don't want a delivery. If I wanted that I would have just called and had you pick some random werewolf out. I am already here so I might as well bring her with me. Get her restrained and I'll take her to my car on my own."

Owen unhooked a bundle of straps and clips from the wall, then entered the cell with the werewolf. First, he slipped a pair of leather cuffs around her wrists and tightened them. They were connected to a leash that had a collar of matching material that was slipped around her neck. Additional straps were fastened around her waist and to her cuffs creating a harness of sorts.

"All set!" he said to the girl, then turned and led her outside the cell. He held out the end of the leash and said to his customers, "She should be pretty, y'know, okay for now, she doesn't, like, ah... spook, that's the world, spook very easily or anything. Enjoy!"

The Pound
Setting

The facility has walls lined with cells, each consisting of three concrete walls, a bare floor, a low ceiling and a wall of clear acryilic which faces the aisle and doubles as a door.

Presently, it's morning and the pound as just opened up for the day.

Plot

The world is such that is condones slavery-- of gifteds, werewolves, vampires and the like. The slave trade is a booming industry, making millionaires within months. Everyone has their own reasons for owning the creatures, some require extra help around the house, others see it as a way to display their wealth, and still others buy them just for the pleasure of breaking them.

As with all things, some people grow tired of their slaves. Now, selling them would take time and energy that some either don't have or are unwilling to waste it on a slave. That is where the 'pound' comes in. They take the discarded slaves, no questions asked and sell them for cheap.

History
The roleplay was made.
Rules

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PLOT WAS NOT MADE UP BY ME!

This roleplay as copied straight from another roleplay from a website called MaraPets. The person who made this roleplay is called Rainkit. Do not give me credit for this, as I did not think of it.

Also please note that I do not in anyway think that slavery is okay in real life!

You may join as a human, gifted, werewolf or vampire.

Humans are never slaves.

Please keep the number of humans and slaves around even, without both of them the roleplay doesn't work.

Don't make slaves with extreamly dangerous powers, they would have been killed, not sold as slaves.

The point of the roleplay is not to stay in the pound, humans should come in and buy slaves then take them home. It is the person who is controling the human's responsabilty to create a setting. For example a farmhouse, or a big expensive house.

Don't make masters who treat their slave's as equals, its over used and quite frankly, really boring.

You can make a slave who was born into slavery or has never spend a day of their lives as slaves, just make up a good reason why they were never caught.

A quick note on slave breeding. First off don't roleplay anyone doing the deed please!

Second, for werewolves they will give birth to a litter rather than a single child. This is because they cannot change from human to wolf while pregnate or they'll kill their children. Since full moon forces a change, they got to stay as a wolf 100% of the time while pregnate. The litter will be born as pups and will stay as pups until about a month or so until they can shift to their human form.
