Takes place in the City of New York, or in the sewers.
New York City is a lot quieter these days. With the Foot Clan defeated, and Shredder's minions no where to be detected, things seem to be pretty much at peace. The citizens can rest for the time being.
However there is something about this time of peace that is almost unsettling. Suspicions have been raised that perhaps things are a little too quiet. Could it be that something even worse than ever before is being bred in the shadows?


Beneath the sewers of New York, the Turtles have been taking advantage of their time off from fighting crime by training and planning for the unexpected. Working as a team, remember self discipline, and always being one step ahead of the enemy has always been the main priority, and the key ingredients to a successful team of ninjas. However, sometimes having brothers as teamates, while many would consider the bonds to be tighter, can be difficult.


As the years pass, the turtles are growing older and there seems to be a change taking place among the brothers that is becoming increasingly noticable. What was once seemingly innocent sibling rivalry has been slowly growing into a tension that is slowly throwing it's roadblocks in the Turtles abilities to work as a cooperative unit.


Sometimes it happens, and as siblings grow, no matter how close the bonds once were, they eventually become their own persons. They find their own paths, things that are important to them. They get swept up with their own cares and lives, and the Good Old Days become distant memories. Life just gets in the way.

It's hard not to take preccautions when you were brought up as disciplined and experienced ninjas. Splinter is now growing older, and is not as active as he once was. Now that the Turtles are nearing adulthood, Leo has been given full responsibility of the team, while Splinter remains as a voice of reason and wisdom, coaching from the sidelines when necesarry, but is currently bed ridden due to recent illness.
Things have become more tense, as the Turtles attempt to develop their team seemingly on their own. The stress of the growing anxiety over their master's condition is weighing on all of them..


Finally the day that the Turtles have been training for has arrived, just as expected. However, the new opposition is stronger than the norm. An army of trained assassins, born and raised under grueling conditions, bred to fight on the frontlines, and possessing centuries of experience in mixed martial arts, stealth, and varying weaponry, has made itself known. They are hardened and seemingly emotionless, with killer instinct.


Sometimes the unexpected happens. While the brothers gear up to fight the new comers, they find that their Master has gone missing.
Meantime, there is chaos in the streets of New York. The new elite army of trained assassins, known as Hybrids, have overshadowed the City in seemingly endless numbers. Their objective? Unknown. Origin? Unknown. They seem to want nothing, and give little to no explaintations as to their motive. What they could possibly want with Splinter is unbeknowest to the Turtles, but it has become their unmistakable mission to get him back.


But will the army of Hyrbrids be more than the Turtles can handle? Will the bonds of the brothers be reignited, allowing them to pull together and put their differences aside, like old times? Or will their inability to cooperate be their true downfall?
We will start off with the Turtles training during the time of peace in New York, when there is no criminal activity. The story will advance from there, following the plot.

Later on, it may be revealed that Shredder has returned and joined forces with the Hybrids.

Obviously, we will need members to play for the turtles. I will be playing as Raph, so the other positions for Leo, Mikey, and Don must be filled before the RP can kick off. The positions for Casey, April, and Splinter also need to be filled. Anyone who wihes to join as another character or Hybrid may do so.

The first to ask for each open position or enter a Character Bio will be accepted, and I will put your name in the box as you see mine next to Raph.

please keep in mind that the Turtles are slightly older in this RP ( i.e. early to middled 20's more likely )

Any other characters that I may have missed, let me know. Shredder will prob not be around until much later in the RP, so by that time, someone may join as him, but let me know first.

- Violence is a given in this RP, but lets not make things too graphic please. I will let you know if you are getting out of hand.

- Please, do not be offensive.

- NO POWER PLAYING/ MARY SUES, NO CONTROLLING OTHER CHARACTERS THAT ARE NOT YOURS

- IMPORTANT: I would prefer that anyone joining this RP have some knowledge of the Ninja Turtles and the characters. But if you have questions, feel free to let me know :)
