It was a cold and dark night.  Most creatures would not dare come out of the comfort of their homes on a night like this.  For others, though, they had little choice.  The wind blew past a lone wolf, her long brown fur whipping back and forth as she struggled against the wind.  She knew that it was hazardous to travel in such a storm especially during night but staying inside was not an option anymore.  Her stomach growled, confirming her worst fears.  She had not eaten hardly anything for nearly a month now and was starving.  Grimacing against the wind and shards of ice, she searched for any signs of prey.  Anything would do.  Even a small mouse would help to satisfy her hunger.  Suddenly, the storm seemed to vanish as soon as it began.  Seizing her chance, she sniffed the cold, mountain air.  Nothing.  A flash of color and the sound of bushes rustling soon caught her attention.  Her heartbeat quickened.  What if it was prey?  Then she could eat, but if it was an enemy or stranger wolf, she would have to be light on her paws in case she needed to fight or flee.  Slowing down her breathing so it would not detect her presence, she started to creep forward to find out what it was before it could detect her.
Crouching down, she peered past the sparsely populated trees and bushes expecting to see some stranger wolf or another living creature lunging towards her. Instead, she spotted, much to her great surprise and joy, that what lay before her was a large, plump rabbit. If she could only catch this rabbit, she would be full for a time and would finally have some food in her stomach. Luckily for her, this rabbit was too busy eating the newly uncovered grass shoots which had been buried by the snow storm to notice her advancements towards it. This was her chance! A quick bite to the neck was all it took to dispatch it. The brown patched wolf tried to savor every bite she could, but just ended up scarfing it down. For the first time in a month this wolf was content and was no longer hungry. This meal was the only decent one she'd had during the past month or so. For the rest of the following day, she slept soundly rising only at night to utter a few howls into the frozen air under the moon. Soon it would be the coming of another full moon. She, along with many other wolves, looked forward to the next full moon although, this wolf did not entirely know why. All she knew was that she was excited about it and that someone she had known talked of it briefly when she asked them. Her priority now, was to howl and see if another one like her would answer back.  She sent up a long unwavering howl, one that should catch other wolves' attentions. It was a howl that she hoped would challenge wolves in the surrounding areas to respond back to her, informing this lone wolf that there were still packs. She had to know that packs still existed and that they were alive, strong and fearsome. She sent up a silent prayer they would hear and have the courage to answer back. She then lay down and waited for their reply.
Daybreak saw a young mixed brown wolf standing on a ridge overlooking a nearby city. Her fur appeared almost as if it was made of gold. Life had gotten easier after she learned how to catch rabbits better. This wolf was unable to take down large prey without some sort of companion, but the smaller prey had sustained her up until now. In fact, the abundance of smaller prey had allowed her to regain her strength. Thoughts began to fill her head as she peered down the ridge. She shook her head to clear her mind. Thinking about those things would not help. Although she loved the forest, her home, with all of her heart, she knew that she had to start searching for the lost members of her family. The only reason that she was leaving her home was due to the fact that she needed to search for her family members who had left to search for paradise and hadn't returned. This would be her next search, definitely not the first or the last one. She gazed fondly at her homeland one last time and prepared to race down the ridge, never looking back. Memories swam before her eyes. Even when a sense of sadness and anger came over her, she stood strong and blinked the tears away that threatened to fall. Just then, she heard a slight sound. Half speaking, half growling, she rose to her full height and took the stance of an aggressive alpha wolf. Then she half spoke, half growled the words,"Who dares to enter my territory? Speak up and be spared. You are a wolf aren't you? If you have any sense of pride as a wolf, come out where I can see you properly." She would not have anyone see her as being weak. This wolf, although young, would prove that she was strong as an individual.
Confused, the young wolf sat down. Was there really no one there? Perhaps she had merely imagined it. After staring at the place the sound had come from, she decided it was time to move on. This wolf turned to look at what had been her home for the longest time, howled softly and left before she changed her mind.
A month or two had passed and the dark brown wolf found herself in the center of the city. A dome covered this city, although this wolf had never seen one before in her life. She thought that this was some sort of ice that did not melt. It was odd to her that it did not melt. The un-melting ice was strange like the city because they both reeked of the Nobles.
This city was rotten and the food wasn't much better, but perhaps she could find someone who would give her a direction as to where her pack could have gone. That was her main objective as she wandered through the streets in her dark brown wolf form. Now if only she could find another wolf and gather information as to where her pack would have gone...
Raiku woke to the sound of howling barking yelling.all the normal sounds of the horrid south city.how she hated it this lowly place where humans enslaved the wolves, even pups!just to do thier work.suddenly a cage door slid a little ways open, then fully. "oh great"she muttered"work time." She was grabbed roughly by the chain she wore it was a big steel circle(impossible to get off) followed by a strong 3foot chain.the man grabbed the chain a drug her to her work station.out of the corner of her eye she saw a small whole in the fence that kept her imprisoned. She got a good Idea of how to escape she knew the place well.but she can't escape now,no no people are watching, But no one will be at night...
The moon rose as the sun set.it was almost time. Waiting, she carefully thought out her plan.all she would have to do is peel back the wood plank in the corner of her cage.she didn't want to leave any of the other wolves behind, but some didn't believe her and called her "stupid" and "foolish" for trying to escape.besides she wouldn't want to be responsible for thier sorry hides. The guard walked away and she tore slowly at the wood.careful not to make noise she bit a big chunk off and laid it down next to her.She dug a little hole in the dirt and slipped out. "Good" she thought. "I'm out the cage now out the city jail." She crawled almost on her stomach and slid past a lazy unsuspecting guard, and out through the hole in the last fence. She ran towards the hills yelling "I'm free! Finally!!!" She then let out one long happy howl into the night.it was loud enough that it would echo for miles. :D
Firin slunk along in the shadows, looking sulky but secretly pleased that the moon was out. Just then, he heard a piercing howl that would easily wake the whole city. Under his breath, he snarled "stupid wolf" before racing off to find it, because if it did wake anybody up, then it would be captured, and that make life even harder for Firin living in this city, and at the moment, he didn't feel like leaving. Firin quickly went in human form and nearly growled when he saw a she wolf howling her head right in the middle of the night! Firin swooped towards her in human form, grabbed her scruff and leaped to a roof of a building. "what the h were you doing?! If you start howling like that again, then you'll be captured within minutes! There are rules in this city, you know, and the golden rule is to NOT start howling your head off in the middle of the night! You hear me?!" with one last growl, he sighed "I guess can go now if you like, but just don't start like that again, okay?" Firin went into wolf form and lay his head back down upon his paws.
Raiku just stood there shocked for a second.then her crazy evil hot temper started to boil! Uh oh she was about to snap, ready to bark in this oh so royal wolfS face, that she had just escaped what could have been the devils home itself.she stopped herself and thought "well,I probably shouldn't have howled like that,I still am in the city..," But her more dominant side wasn't about to just back down with her tail I between her legs. "Hey!" she barked "cut me a break! I just escaped from one of the fowlest places on earth! I am happy to be out.if a human came I could handle myself! it's not like I made it in that rat hole with only pure luck!" she felt a little guilty, after all he was only trying to look out for her. "Thanks" she said in a more softer tone. "I'm Raiku, and we should get out of this area.knowing how humans are ruthless and alert they probably already know we are here.you can tell me your name on the way." And with that her black coat disappeared and she then turned into a sleek young woman in a leather jacket with long black silky hair.she walked off black combat boots squeaking and all.
Remember people, if you've made a character on this RP then you should post or else your character's just useless and I will remove them. Otherwise, my thanks to skyfeather for looking after the RP while I wasn't online and apologies as well for not posting for so long, as well as another thanks to shadow dragon for keeping the roleplay going and posting as her character, too. :)
Lillain watched a tall women women walk from a tall man. These grown ups where wierd they were making so much noise Lillian yawned and climbed out of the cardboard box she was sleeping in. Lillian then started to follow the lady they were alike and so was the man but Lillain was scared of the man. Lillian had never seen a women who was like her she didn't even remember her mom. Lillians curiosity took over and she continued to follow the women. It wasn't till the women and girl walked a long way that the lady noticed the girl following. Lillian didn't mind the lady not noticing her for a long time people never noticed Lillian because she was a six year old girl with tattered clothes and shiny green eyes with soft blond hair Lillian after all was harmless.
Raiku stopped as she kept hearing little footsteps.she turned and saw a little pup following her with big eyes of curiosity. Raiku loved pups,it was one of her flaws. "Hey! We should help this pup!" she muttered. He just shrugged and kept walking. She slowly approached careful not to scare the pup and sat down. "Where's your parents?"she asked.the girl just shrugged. "is there anyone looking after you?" the girl shook her head. "hmm.do you want to come with us?" at that the pups eyes lit up in silent agreement. "it's settled then, you can come with us" She turned and padded off, little pup close on her heels. Raiku was a little worried, the pup looked like she hadn't eaten in awhile. "Must be hungry she thought." With that she found a small rat scurrying under a pile of trash.Raiku was known in the wolf prison for being merciless and cold, when it came to pups though she would bend over backwards though. With a quick bite she severed the neck of the rat and plopped it at the pups feet. "Dinner" she said in her casual voice. She then again trying to make some sort of progress, walked after the male wolf she saw earlier. The pup was fed and they needed to get going.she walked aware that the evil hunter that caught her before was probably still stalking around somewhere.she hated him, he killed her father figure Kody. She got infuriated every time she heard his name. Dune
Sora had been sleeping soundly when she heard a sharp, but distant sound. Her soft brown head shot up when she heard it.'Was it a machine?,'she thought. No, it couldn't be. Impossible even. No, this had much more feeling and emotion in it. This could only be none other than another wolf.
"If that really is a wolf out there, then that means that I'm not the only one who has come into this city," she told herself. "If I go now, I'll have a chance of finding them. Perhaps they know where I might find my pack."
Sora leapt from the building that she had been perched on. She landed without making much sound.'If only I still had someone to teach me these skills,'Sora thought to herself, but he was gone now. Probably never to return. From now on, this young she-wolf would have to protect, feed and teach herself.
Continuing on, she did her best not to make a sound. Although she was in her human form, she did not want to cause a commotion by making noise and getting discovered, for most people slept at night.
Lillian continued to walk after the man Firin and the women Raiku while eating her new meal. It had been so long since she had eaten anything. The tall women Raikyu was going some where and so was the man Lillian wondered where. Lillian had been alone most of my life and had never meet a women as kind as Raiku she was afraid if she said anything they would send her away so she stood silent and continued to walk with them. It didn't matter that glass was digging into Lillian small feet she was used to the pain or that the frigid night air was cold on her sensitive child flesh she was just so over joyed to be near people like her. "Thank you" I said in my softest voice possible while looking down at my feet and continueing to walk.

A mixed brown wolf was seen walking around the city at night, although no one really knew that it was a wolf. As far as most people were concerned, it was just an unusually large dog. Sora hated using her human form to avoid confrontation around humans. Actually, she despised it. If Sora did meet any other wolves, it would be as a wolf, not appearing as a human. Not as one of them.

When she stopped to lap at a puddle of water, she realized that she could hear the sound of glass crunching.'Was a wolf walking on glass?'She wondered why those pawsteps sounded so soft.'Could there really be a pup here, of all places? Or was it just a small wolf?'She could not be certain. What she did know though, was that 1. there were other wolves nearby, 2. they were making quite a commotion, so they would not be too hard to find and 3. she needed to find some food.

Quickly, she backed off, taking care to leave unheard and unseen. She knew that her scent would carry on the faint breeze soon enough. She evacuated the area, searching for food. There was a food shop nearby if she remembered right.

Raikus ears kept twitching at the sound of glass. " what could that be?"she thought. She turned and saw the little pup has gotten into a pile of glass that the filthy humans hadn't picked up. "this won't do."she said, and with that she told lilian to come to her.at first the pup looked like she was scared. "lilian." the pup looked at her wondering what raiku would do next. "Are you walking on glass?" the little pup just shook her head yes. "well then, transform into your human form." now lilian was REALLY confused.but she did what she was told none the less. "ok,hop on my back." lilian got on Raikus back and it seemed like she was enjoying herself. "I couldn't let you walk on glass." she stated. "I have seen humans doing this with small children.I think its called piggy-backing. Isn't that weird?" lilian just giggled liking the way they hit bumps in the pavement,or when raiku jumped over something, though she didnt really need to.she was wearing 2 inch thick combat boots, glass would have no effect on her. - Raiku kept smelling the air.she thought she smelled wolf, but quickly got rid of that thought.this was Dunes city if he found a wolf it was dead already. But then again Firin was still alive. "Hey! Firin,I think I smell some." she got closer and said more quietly "wolves!" he looked at her like alright,do whatever... So they started off in the direction of the smell. -they were extremely close now,she could almost vision the wolf.so instead of howling she gave off a deep bark, some would say scary but to her it was just deep.she couldn't howl because Dune might hear her, that would be REALLY bad.she sat down with lilian on her lap,Firin was silently watching for whatever might come.she was almost ready to fall asleep.but she...had...to...stay.....alert. ZZzz She fell asleep,to tired to protest.at least Firin was keeping watch over them.

Wolfs Rain
Setting
There are 3 places to start: The stinky, North city that is pretty much ruined and full of scientists and criminals. The South City, which is an island where you have to tow heavy boxes or get whipped so you can have food. Or the rural areas, such as the mountains, desert, forest, or ruins.
Plot
If you haven't heard about the show Wolf's Rain, well it is a time way in the future in a pretty much post apocalyptic world where wolves "died" over 200 years ago. There are a number of cities where you try to survive as a wolf and find paradise. Also, wolves have a human cloak where they trick the humans hunting them to see a human form, not their wolf form. Paradise is where Lunar Flowers bloom and only wolves know the way to paradise. Also, wolves have almost super powers, such as jumping like a ninja up a wall and being able to survive drops humans usually wouldn't. If you are a royal-well, i'm not going to explain-look Wolf's Rain up on youtube. There will be challenges, mystery, sacrifice, friendship and happiness.
History
Loads of wolves have tried to get to Paradise. All have dissapeared, unless they returned early. As the red moon approaches (the end of the earth) wolves must go on the quest for paradise-or die. The rest of the history will go on with this RP.
Rules
sigh... Look at my other RP rules-same as usual. The max is 6 characters and you can't make another persons character same something silly if you don't want them to. Not TOO much controlling others characters unless you have permission.
