Viewing Rockfyrex's Farm - Valley of the Rooks
Jump to dinosaurs?

Hello and welcome to Valley of the Rooks! Please secure any articles of loose clothing, keep your hand's close to your sides, and stay on the path at all times. Some of my raptors are quite friendly and I've had most of them since they were hatchlings, but they definitely aren't pets. I would hate to have one of my raptors take a fancy to that nice, bright red scarf you're wearing and decide it's worth chasing! Despite my warnings, there shouldn't be any problems and the dinosaurs are quite secure in their enclosures.

Valley of the Rooks started out with only Bambiraptors on the premise, but recently I've acquired a nice female Archaeopteryx. When I first opened this place (on March 31st, 2012) I had planned to stay with only one species for a couple of months. Of course things often don't go as planned and I couldn't get the Archaeopteryxs out of my head. You see they had caught my eye when I was first looking into what species of dinosaur I wanted.

Currently I am focusing my attention on the breeding of my Bambiraptors. When breeding I focus on these things in this order:
1) perfect genetics
2) conformation
3) markings
4) stats
My short-term goal for my Bambiraptors is breeding a dinosaur with perfect genetics and visible markings. My long-term goal for my Bambiraptors is to breed a dinosaur with perfect genetics, heavy harlequin markings, albino eyes, and perfect conformation.

As Archaeopteryx are a secondary project, I don't expect to get into seriously doing anything with them for awhile. As of right now, my goal for them is to breed a dinosaur with perfect genetics and conformation.
