Now the real reason I went to China for New Year's was because I had been wanting to start my own line in a new breed for a while, and had been talking to some Anchiornis near Beijing. I picked out three lovely specimens, two females and a male from three separate breeders. We christened them Electric Violet, Silver Hibiscus, and Jade Feather. Raine will help me with these ones. Curiously, Anchiornis travel in single gender packs, 5-10 in the female ones and 2-3 in the male ones. We gave our first girl pack the name Femina and the first boy pack, which consist singularly of Jade Feather right now, the name of Manchino. I would have gotten more but there was 4 animal export limit per month out of China, and I had to save one of those spots for the baby Guanlong. Hopefully we can get some more in the months to come. -1/3/15
