Utahraptor Enclosure
|
|
A voice calls out from a small box that sits before a large sign with information about Utahraptors. "This is one of our newest additions to the park, the Utahraptor. Our single Utahraptor is Scythe. She was bought from a farm that could no longer care for her. She has been bred to a beautiful stud with great posture and you may be able to see her guarding her clutch of eggs right now. She isn't the best specimen since she hasn't been bred very well but we're hoping she will start off a nice, purebred line of Utahraptors." The voice shuts off and leaves you listening to the natural sounds of jungle birds and raptor barks. The voice must have been that of the park owner. As you peer into the small enclosure your eye catches Scythe nuzzling her spotted eggs. Her light salmon colored scales shimmer in the sun. The sign above reads that most of the eggs won't survive. The scientists in the lab don't understand why this is but it's very important to care for the one or two that do survive.
