Stegosaurus is another very easily recognizable dinosaur! It was herbivorous and lived during the time of the late jurassic period, and had 17 bony down the length of its back - the use of which is unknown. Stegosaurus also had 2 dangerous spikes on the end of its tail. |

Stegosaurus' brain was only the size of a walnut, which means this dinosaur was probably very, very unintelligent! It is also thought that a collection of nerves (larger than the brain itself) was attached to the hip area, to help make the back legs and tail work. |
