Diet	Carnivorous	Utahraptor was a large dromaeosaur that lived in the early cretaceous period of the USA! Having a huge curved claw on its second toe - that it could raise upward and backward to avoid damage whilst running - it was most certainly a formidable predator. As well as the grasping hands it had, it also had powerful jaws, large eyes, and was capable of flexing its large curved claw forward when attacking to rip flesh. Its tail was stiff from a shealth of fine bony rods and used for balance. Utahraptor was thought to have hunted in packs to bring down large prey.

		Utahraptor is a relative to Velociraptor -- a dinosaur made famous by the Jurassic Park movies. However, the film made the Velociraptors twice their actual size, but within a year since the film was released, Utahraptor was found (and roughly the same height as the raptors used in the film), which helped to justify the massive size difference!
