Notes
Rail, the heart and namesake of Railclaw, is a rather humorous fellow with a go-getter attitude, an inquisitive disposition and a gentleness about him around humans that cannot be denied. Although he is quite easy to handle and can be led about with a mere fiber rope with little worry, he is ferocious in the ring and quite quick to the kill when given the OK to hunt. He is forever loyal to Red, his mate, and would do nearly anything to please her.

As his advances on Red have been mostly either ignored or met with violence, he is pursuing other romantic options among utahraptors that are not in our collection, although his feelings for his alphess are unchanged.

As of recent days there has been a recurrent incident involving our accountant's hat. Courageous and Rail simply love to steal it and place it on their own heads. Rail is nicer about it than his son, and tends to simply grab the hat in his foreclaws and place it on his own head, rather than jumping at him and pushing him over like the youngsters often do. This has gained him several nicknames, as he does look quite dapper in his stolen hat and he's still as friendly as he usually is with or without it. On one such occasion, the undaunted accountant simply reached up, pulled the raptor's head down, and placed his monocle on the raptor's brow. This this incident was out in public on the way back from a hunt, and many a humorous photograph was taken at the trailer while the raptors were being loaded into it. The office worker was off work that day, and reported that he had simply come because he had never seen how raptors hunted before and was curious.
