Ever amid the workload is a fleeting presence, a nasty creature that makes its habit to burrow into encrypted documents, jump over landlines through network shares and disable anti-viruses before making itself at home.

When the worm's file is run, it first opens WinZip as a decoy. It may also block keyboard and mouse input to force the user to press CTRL + ALT + DEL and log off.
During the installation phase the worm copies its file to several locations:

The worm has a dangerous payload. If the date is equal to 3 (3rd of February, 3rd of March, etc) and the worm's UPDATE.EXE file is run, it destroys files with crucial extensions on all available drives.

It attempts to disable several security-related and file sharing programs. It deletes start-up key values from the Registry if they contain any of the following:

Nyxem is an inflexible, rigid virus bordering on the lines of insanity. She manifests little ill-will towards fellow destructive system defectors and lives in the here and now. A self-serving, hollow soul full of smite and indulgent in pleasure.

Corrupted file that often acts out, invasive toward others' and overly knowledgeable with them. This information is considered classified and un-nerving in the hands of such a malicious, adamant virus. Diagnosed bipolar in the method of apology and mistake; contains the ability to phase holographic clones and uses distasteful methods to gain trust of others.
